Her phone dinged. She didn't want to look. She'd been up drinking coffee. It was 9am already. Time flies when your mind just won't stop.

She picked up her phone. Thankfully it was Carolyn. Hey girl! We still on for a swim and a hot tub. Maybe even the gym after lunch if your not busy. She tapped back. Hell yeah, I'm ready. Come on over. I'll get ready. I live on the 3nd floor. Do you want me to meet you down there? Or do you want to come up to change? I have got A lot to tell you.

About 20 minutes later Carolyn knocked. "Come in, would you like something to drink?" She looked a bit flustered. "Oh the traffic was horrible even for this early!" "So you want coffee with a shot of Kahlua? Or perhaps a shot of Bailey's? Just enough to calm your nerves of course. " She slipped out a slight giggle. Carolyn opted for the Bailey's. "It is a little early, but that guy almost hit me pulling into the parking lot " "Well this will help. Have a seat I'll make us one." Well scoop woman" Carolyn spouted. " Well, it stared out a while ago. Someone stared ghost calling me. No idea who. I'm sure you heard about the gun shot in the parking lot last night." " What no! I left early! What the hell happened? " she demanded. " Well I left after my last match. Stephen and Dave came to watch. Beep beep, Carolyn grabbed her phone, another friend Kimberly text, checking to see what she was up to. She ended up coming to the pool also . Another beep beep, Margaret, or Peggy as they called her, came to the pool. She used to live in the same building as Melissa, She always did her hair and nails so she didn't swim, but she'd sit in the hot tub. Not long after came Mary walking through, she went home. After putting up her days purchases She headed to the pool with the others. And so the pool party started. They lounged around taking of the tournaments, men, dogs, jobs, and just about everything and anything. About 1pm they started thinking food. The 2 bodyguards had turned into 4. But Melissa didn't complain with all her friends she didn't want them in trouble, and she didn't want her business out to everyone. They all went to Don Bravos on the corner of the next block. One of the best restaurants in Houston. They were silly, having fun. After they headed to a local bar, Coaches. They all walk in, all very good looking women. Every head that was there turned. The 2 men went in 1st. The girls went straight at the bar, After a few drinks they all got together playing pool. Melissas phone bipped, a message from Stephen asking her if she wanted to go to dinner. She grinned, got all 5 girls in a selfie and sent him the picture. Hanging out with my girls today, she typed back. WOW. Y'all are all beautiful! He text back. Where are you? Are you all safe? Alex called and said you had some girlfriends over, so I sent 2 more guards. That ok?

They all made it to their way to the restaurant. The parking lot was a little full as it was close to a strip center. They all found an area together. They were laughing, giggling and joking walking into the building. The Hostess sat them in the same area they had sat when she was there with Ms Miller. They all grabbed menu's, and ordered drinks. When the drinks came, the waitress said, "These are compliments of the 2 gentlemen at the bar. They All looked to the bar, there sat David, and Stephen. Melissa wanted to crawl under the table. Being the strong personality she was, she spoke up, Send them one back for me. Girls, I work with these 2 guys. Well, I work with one, the other is his best friend who owns Best Electric. All the Ladies looked at her like holy s**t! Peggy who has darker skin, beautiful high cheek bones, tall, legs like a model. Always dressed to the nines, perfect hair, makeup to precision. Says" Mel! how do you always get these hot white guys, oh my!" The others had to all giggle and give comment too. Melissa said "we could offer them to come eat with us, they just might. Ring *Ring* Private number. She just turned it off. The girls looked at her, who was that? You don't ever turn your phone off. Noone she said.

The girls ordered and ate. David and Stephen wandered to the table and the waitress brought everyone a drink from them again. Mary was really eyeing up David. He was noticing her too. She was about 5"2, dark black hair straight, American Indian and Mexican decent, light brown eyes, tan skin , toned body. Very good looking. David was drooling in his drink. He was very happy that she was paying attention to him. He sat beside Mary, and Stephen sat between Melissa and Peggy. Peggy was probably her best friend of all of them. Nothing broken. Melissa asked everyone if they wanted to head back to the hot tub to end their evening. All of them said Heck yeah! David asked" Are we invited too?" What else could she say , Girls y'all mind if they come ? Mary and Carolyn both said" Sure, I take it you 2 have something to wear in the water?"Stephen said, "Yes I keep a bag in my car, I think I've got one that will fit David". As they went back to their vehicles, Kimmy said her goodnights. She had a son at her mother's she had to pick up. All the women gave her a hug and asked her to come out next Saturday to go shopping with them. Mary jumped into the truck and first thing she asked Melissa was, "Do you know if he's married or anything?". Melissa told her she didn't think so, but she knows those 2 are best friends and had been a very long time. She could see it in Mary's face that she was enthralled with David. She drove off with a smile to her place.

The Apartments weren't far And they all parked. The girls all had on their suits under the sun dresses and wraps they wore. So Melissa handed her key to Stephen so they could walk up and change. David had never been in her Apartment before. So he was asking a million questions to Stephen. The girls drilling Melissa. Peggy;" Girl, you better watch that man. Everyone had to start asking questions as the guys started coming down. Melissa said" that was a couple yrs ago. Not sure what happened to him" she said, trying to nip that conversation in the bud. Maybe she should talk about other men around him, perhaps that would stop any feelings he might have, it was a thought.

They all sat around in the Hot tub, it was large enough to fit even 6 more if need be.They flipped back and forth between swimming and the hot tub. Eventually everyone Slowly went home. Including 2 guards, only 2 stayed for the night. Except Stephen and Dave, and Mary. Soon Dave and Mary were making out in the pool, and Stephen had slid up next to her. Why and how does he somehow keep sliding right into the spot beside her? Oh well. Mary took David by the hand and wandered off, probably to her apartment. They didn't see him again that night. Stephen walked up to her apartment with her. She hit the shower to rinse off. He had taken a bottle of Jack to her apartment. He noticed the note he had written. The cash still laying there. She came out dressed in a short little dress that she obviously could sleep in. Honestly there wasn't much to it. She asked him if he wanted a shower to get the pool chlorine off. He shook his head yes. Left his drink on the coaster on the bar. He could hardly walk to the bathroom.
