TWENTY FOUR

After the pain subsided. Leon stands up trying to figure out what just happened. He had learned skill before but this is the first time it hurt so much. 

Leon looked at the changes in his body and found nothing. He then looks forward at the swarm of spiderling and they're still coming with no sign of dwindling. 

'The f*ck! I already killed about 10,000 of them when is this going to end.' As Leon was thinking a notification sounded in his head.

"Oh, another useless thing." This was not the first time he had got a title by hunting monsters. Usually, if you kill 10,000 monsters of the same race you will get a title after that is 100,000 kill count which only a few crazy players get. There is also speculation that if your killed count reaches 1,000,000 you would also get a title but no one is stupid enough to do that. Players also have a life. 

'I wonder if I could reach 1,000,000 kill count. I'm doing practically nothing anyway and this spiderling seems to be endless.'

In the headquarters of Neo, an employee is playing Galaga when suddenly he notices a red dot blinking on his monitor. He immediately saved his game and rushed to report the situation to James Ezrael, the head of operations in Neo. 

"Sir, The player you ask me to watch over became active again."

"Who?"

"It's player White sir."

Genesys has millions of players and there are a few of them so exceptional that James is tasked to watch out for but when he hears White's name he became flustered. 

"Who did he kill this time? Is it Mirana the queen of night elf? If I'm not mistaken his character got deleted. He should be low level now, don’t tell me he killed someone like that while being level 1." 

"Your wrong sir. He is level 80 now. In a few days, he would reach Level 100."

James' eyes suddenly turned huge.

"That fast, even if he killed a monster over level 100 using a bug, he would be lucky if level up to 20. Are you messing with me?"

'I'm serious sir, the reason he levels up so fast is that It's not just one level 100 sir, he slaughtering thousands of them."

"What! How can that be? Show me!"

The employee types a bunch of letters in one of the keyboards and one of the monitors shows Leon drinking purple water and eating a dead spiderling, while thousands of spiderlings are rushing over him to give experience.

“Ohh! I didn’t expect this skill to level up just by drinking and eating.”

Watching the seen James and the employee immediately vomited. "Blaaahhh" 

"The f*ck is wrong with this player." Although they did a background check on White because of the whole Arthur's incident. How could they who leave a comfortable life imagine what it's like to leave like rats? Back in the days, when Leon has so little and every little bit of money he earns goes to his father's medical bill and baby Jack milk. He and his two sisters have to eat whatever they get their hands on. Trashcan food, rats,frog,cockroach. One time he even got food poison but because of the lack of money, he has no choice but to just walked it off.

"What do we do sir James?" 

"Take this," James hand over money to the employee

"What would I do with this sir?"

"Buy some popcorn, we can only watch and see anyway. Genesys will take care of it."

In the white room, the fairy is looking at the screen while biting his clothes. 

"Damn it! How long can he lay there without doing anything?" 

'Do you think you outsmarted me ah? Think again.' The fairy waves her hand and as she does. All the Churches dedicated to the Arcane church shine brightly and all their priests received a message. 

"Go to the forest of death and kill Leon White."

[Level up] 

A day has passed since Leon enters Broodmother's lair and he is bored as f*ck.

He did nothing but lay down and the spiderling will come to him and give experience willingly. He already levels up to level 80 and can be considered not a noob anymore. The experience he getting from spiderling is starting to become negligible considering his level. But Leon is not complaining, if someone knew he only spends a day to level up from level 1 to level 80 they would surely flip a table. He also already obtain the title for 100,000 killed a few hours ago. The effect is amazing. There’s no wonder those crazy hunters didn't publicize the 100,000 killed effects. Leon is now getting excited about what 1,000,000 kills will give.

After spending a day in Broodmother's cave, he'd learn one thing; The amount of spiderling is practically endless. 

'I think I can grind here until level 100. It's just too bad that I need a class or else I'll be stuck.' 

Usually, people go to a trainer and get a class change when they reach level 10 as class advancement provides an increase in stats and numerous perks. But some people opted not to get their class as they see more benefits in being no class. 

No-class has a distinct advantage over other classes as there are no restrictions on what skill they can learn. They can learn healing, magic, swords skill, anything. But the moment No-class advances, the skill they learned that does not correspond to the class he/she chooses will disappear. 

Before high level No-class filled the streets of Genesys because of their OP flexibly but everything changed when the first no class reached level 100. He discovers that no class can't pass Level 100, it was its limit. After this discovery,  no more high level No-class has been born as no one wants their character to get stuck while the rest progress.

Leon never wants to stay No-class either, If he can he would have already changed to any class when he reaches level 10 it just that he can't. He already knows that even if he manages to reach a normal city (which is practically impossible for him without dying.) no trainer would accept him. His only choice for class advancement is a class advancement tome which can only be found in some ruin or sometimes the end of a dungeon. It was so rare that it was immediately sold when it went to market.

'I would have to try my luck with this dungeon maybe there is a class advancement tome in here. Based on it's make up a poison master tome is not that be farfetched.'

In the real world, Ems is meeting up with Ana.

“Hey, big sis. Why did you want to hang out all of a sudden, We will meet in our usual Saturday girls out will Val anyway.” Ems said.

Anna looked at Ems worriedly. “Are your family doing ok?”

“Never better, Is it about big bro?” Ems asked confused

“Yes”

“I get that you're worried about him sis but you know about bro he likes to have his feeling bottle up inside” Ems explained.

“I know that so if you are having any trouble just contact me alright, don’t wait for your brother's approval,” Anna said.

“Ahmmmm” Ems hesitated, he didn’t want to do things behind his brothers back.

Seeing this, Anna's expression turns serious, “Promise me, Ems!” 

“Alright! Aright! No need to shout, are you fighting with my brother you both a little grumpy today.”

Anna pouted “ You know we broke up, right?”

“Actually I didn’t realize, you barely hang out anyways hahaha,” Ems said teasing Anna.

“You little brat!”

“Kidding, kidding I don’t know what's going on with you two but I know bro still loves you. You know he still has your picture in his wallet” 

“Your brother is stupid” 

“I know hahaha”

“By the way, sis did you play Genesys?” Ems asked, changing the topic.

“Sometimes, why?” Anna replied. 

“Great! I just started, let's play together. I’m on Camelot.” Ems said, happily.

“Isn’t that the kingdom of that prick Erick?” Anna asked.

Hearing her idol get insulted, Ems get irritated a little. “I thought you and bro broke up why did you know about it.”

“hehehehe”
