The day of the second prenatal appointment had arrived. Líli had all the tests requested by the obstetrician in hand. Diogo was anxious, he wanted to finally be able to see his baby.
Once in the doctor's office, they sat down. Líli handed her the exams. She looked at them one by one, confirming that there was no problem with Líli.
"Everything is great for your health. We are going to do a new ultrasound, in which we will be able to see the fetus."
"I'm going to change clothes." Líli went to the bathroom and put on her gown. She walked to bed. Diogo helped her to lie down, then the doctor put that gel on her belly.
In the first few slides of that device on her belly, a small noise echoed through the room. Líli looked at Diogo, they both smiled, then he asked.
"Is that the heart?"
"Yes
