Today was Mia's birthday. The day where the little girl meets the man she's supposed to call dad. And also the day she meets her favorite character, Mickey Mouse.
Mia was up earlier than any other day. She ran into Jessica's room and jumped on the bed.
"Aunt Jess. It's biwthday. Up up up." She bounced on the bed.
Jessica groaned as she rolled over to grab the little girl's feet. She pulled on Mia's feet and the little girl face planted on the bed giggling.
"I'm going to eat you for waking up the monster." Jessica said in her groggy morning voice.
Mia sprung up from the bed all the time squealing. She ran into her mother's room, heading straight for the bed to cuddle herself next to her mother, hiding beneath the sheet.
