As Vanessa awoke and checked the messages on her phone, that was the first message she saw.
It was from Stanley. He kept telling her that he loves her but she's still having a hard time trusting him with her heart.
Yes, she might have given him a second chance, but that doesn't mean that she's a hundred percent sure of where their relationship was gonna take them. They could end up with somebody else for all she knew.
They would still share a daughter obviously, but they wouldn't be together anymore. The only thing they would have in common would be Mia.
She hated toying with the idea of not having Stanley in her life. It brought up way too many possibilities that she rather not think about.
