Aria's POV
My eyes fluttered open and fell on the guard who was standing a few feet away from me, with a stern look in his eyes. I rubbed my sleepy eyes and sat upright as I blinked severally trying to clear the fog in my eyes.
I scanned my surroundings and realized I had slept off on the couch while waiting for the Alphas to return.
My mind went back to how the Lycan King and Alpha Sebastian had rushed out of the study when they heard someone scream.
Lots of questions ran through my mind and I wondered if everything was alright. The room was as empty as before except for the guard whose hawk's eyes were fixed on me.
I don't know for how long I've been asleep but judging from how quiet the mansion had become, I could tell it was late in the evening.
