It's been two days since the Lycan King rejected his cranky mate in my presence and two days since I had last seen him.
The shock of witnessing Selena's rejection hasn't left my mind since that day. It took my memories back to the day Sebastian rejected me too for Imelda.
I felt bad for Selena as she fell to the floor in pain from the rejection because I had been there before. That was why I didn't hesitate to assist her when she requested that I take her to Alpha Xander.
