I watched as the Alpha King walked out on me and disappeared into the bathroom. A sigh escaped my lips as I began to ponder on his words and his instructions to keep tails on the Gamma; my cousin.
I didn’t like the idea of that at all and was still finding it hard to believe that Rufus of all people could be the culprit. I couldn’t help but wonder what made the Alpha come to that conclusion.
I trust Rufus and I know he was not capable of harming me. I have known him from our childhood days and I can strongly vouch that he has no interest in being Alpha of Blackwood.
He never even wanted to be the gamma of the pack. I had to speak with him and make him see reasons why he should accept the position and be by my side. So why would he suddenly want to be alpha all of a sud
