Chapter Ten
Sebastian's POV
After Aria left with Xander, I sat dejectedly in my seat, staring into space.
Imelda turned to me and pulled my face to her level until our eyes were locked.
She stared at me in silence for a few seconds, her expression darkening with every passing second. Her eyes flared with anger as she shoved my face hard, standing to her feet.
"Call the engagement off, Sebastian, I'm no longer interested," she declared, her voice holding a tone of finality.
I furrowed my brows in confusion, wondering why she was bringing this up. "What are you saying, Imelda? We have informed our parents and friends already. We can't possibly call it off when it’s almost here!" I tried to reason with her but she blatantly ignored me.
She clicked her tongue while shaking her head
