I walked out of Imelda's room and headed straight for the doctor's office with a sullen face. The longer I stayed in the room, the more vivid the image of her and Rufus became in my mind.
I pushed the door open and made my way into his office. He stood up on noticing my arrival.
"Alpha," he said.
I nodded, acknowledging him. "I'm leaving. Ensure you get her to feel better and make sure nothing happens to my child, okay?" I instructed sternly and turned around.
"I'll have the guards come and get her after the examination, so in the meantime, her safety and that of my pup are in your hands," I added and strode to the door.
