Aria's POV
I sat on the bed with my eyes closed, massaging the muscles in my legs. Ever since the doctor had told me there was an opportunity for me to walk again, I couldn’t wait for it to happen and I wanted it to happen soon.
A knock sounded on the door and my eyes snapped open. I turned my head in the direction of the door, my brows creased as I wondered who might be at the door. It was still very early in the morning and I wasn't expecting anyone.
“Come in,” I uttered.
The door was pushed open and Claire and a guard walked inside the room, closing the door behind them. I watched the two of them with raised brows as they strode towards me.
A lot of thoughts went through my mind as I wondered why they were there. It was totally understandable that Claire might have come to check
