LEO SPRANG BACK and ran to the window. I followed quickly, chewing the bite of waffle I’d stuffed in my mouth. Hey, I didn’t want to waste good food, okay?
On the rear deck of Liquidity, the secretary was wailing like a banshee. The only respite we got was when she paused to throw up over the edge. Too much gin? Or something else?
“Do you think Raul ate the sushi? I didn’t even notice.”
Leo grinned down at me. “I told you I’d take your mind off it.”
