Larry's POV

This sister of mine is something else, I can't believe she tricked us easily like that. Now I'm stuck with Charlene in Hayley's room, it's been twenty minutes since Hayley locked us up and hasn't lifted her face.

"Charlene!" I finally gathered the strength to call her and she lifted her head up.

"How are you doing?" I asked trying to start a conversation with her because the silence was too awkward.

" I'm good thanks," she said softly which melted my heart.

" Errm , I'm sorry about last night," I said.

"Its okay."

"Ain't you mad at me?" I asked.

"Nop ," she stressed the 'p'.

"So why did you run away from me?"

"I was kinda embarrassed ," she replied shyly.

"Why didn't you go to work today?" She asked me.

"I thought you were mad at me so I wanted to settle things and make it up to you but i don't regret kissing you." I said and she blushed.

"Wow you look cute when blushing," I said sarcastically and I'm glad she's loosening.

"So are we good now?" I asked and she just nod her head. That was all I needed to hear from her and pulled her into my arms.

Charlene's POV

Wow! Finally I'm Larry's girlfriend , I never knew Larry have got feelings for me. I thought he just love me as a friend not knowing he feels the same way too.

Hayley is the best friend ever and now I'll be able to kiss those sexy whenever I feel like doing so . I love Larry so much not because of his wealth or handsomeness but whenever I'm with him there's this feeling that I can't explain.

Hayley, the matchmaker interrupted us even though she's the one who came up with this plan.

"Finally, you guys are now together as a couple!" She exclaimed cheerfully.

"You shouldn't have come back this early," Larry said with his hands encircling my waist and his head on my shoulder.

"Ohhh so now I'm no longer wanted here?" She asked.

"Yes you're such a mood spoiler," he replied.

"like seriously? You're so ungrateful, you guys should be thanking me for locking you up here," she said rolling her eyes.

"We didn't ask you to lock us up in the first place," I said resting my head on Larry's chest .

"That's my babe," said Larry smiling and I couldn't help but blushed harder than before.

"Wow so you two are now ganging up on me ?"

"Yes ma'am," we both chorused and burst into laughter .

Hayley hugged both of us happily and congratulated us . This was one of the best moments in my life .

"This calls for a celebration," Hayley squealed.

"You're the one who's going to cater for all the expenses right since you're the one suggesting." Larry said sarcastically.

" My poor little brother is not romantic at all," said Hayley with a frown .

"Hayley leave my babe alone," I said facing Larry and gave him a peck on his cheek before hiding my face on his chest cuz I was so shy . I didn't have the courage to face them.

" Aw Mrs Howard is a shy lady," Hayley said and I giggled like a kid.

"She's just pretending to be shy but my lady isn't the shy time ," Larry said and I smiled.

My stomach growled then I looked up at him and he was looking down at me , it seems like he heard the growling sound too.

"My babe is hungry," Larry said to Hayley and she scoffed.

"You should have cooked for her "

" How was I going to do that when you locked us inside?" He asked.

" Did you ever try to open the door?" She asked and we glared at each other.

"No," we said in unison.

"That explains it all , I locked and unlocked the door before leaving so you guys needed each other's company that's why you didn't bother to give it a try," she said laughing before heading downstairs leaving us in bewilderment.
