Redhawk found he had returned to normal as he followed the mercenary to the quarry staging area. He regretted leaving his PA back at the cabin, although he thought the decision was probably correct since it undoubtedly would have been lost in any number of the events that occurred earlier that morning. Still, it would have been nice to talk to the Ang brothers directly. He might have been able to save the Bigfoot.
He arrived at the staging area just as the men heaved what remained of the Bigfoot corpse over the edge of the quarry. He heard it smash against the cliff face and then splash into the water at the bottom. A small tear rolled down his cheek. He quickly wiped it away as the kill team’s leader approached.
