Without warning, Janá slipped into the dream-like existence she had come to realize was much more than lucid dreaming but a kind of existence on the astral plane. The first time surprised her and left her bewildered. But now she had come to accept it as a natural phenomenon.
She allowed her astral self to take control. Immediately, she jumped to a new location. Below, she recognized Redhawk standing motionless as if in a trance. In amazement, she felt An energize her astral body, preparing it to rematerialize in the real world. She experienced a moment of fear at the new sensation, quickly replaced by a sense of unlimited power.
