Shortly after his conversation with Sue Lynn telling him that Colossus appeared to have transferred himself into the synthetic brain being grown in the lab in Marquette Michigan, Wei summoned Dr. Lee.
With the sun bearing down on them, Wei and Dr. Lee sat in one of the small gardens distributed throughout the Shanghai AI campus. Cherry blossom petals drifted to the ground like snow as the trees neared the end of their bloom.
