After her Marquette reconnaissance, Sue Lynn stood outside the entrance to the Granville T. Woods Science Foundation and studied the imposing structure. Security guards prevented any unauthorized people from getting inside. But getting in wasn’t the problem. Kobak had brought her here, introduced her to the director, Olav Lassen, and vouched for her. Her thoughts turned to the realization that getting out on the lab, with the synthetic brain, was going to be difficult. Still, she had a plan. It was quite simple actually, and began with telling Olav and Janá the truth – at least part of it.
