It was a beautiful sunny morning, unlike in the old days when the smog blocked out the sun. As the two men walked, Wei was deep in thought. Dr. Lee and Wei had become quite close friends in the last two years. Whenever possible, they enjoyed taking walks through the network of tree- and flower-lined trails that wound their way through the campus of China’s great AI Center in Shanghai. The campus was one of the few places in China that was free from the social unrest constantly bubbling up among the vast Chinese population.
