56 Quileute River, Olympic Peninsula March 15th 2035 Jack Vance was on his early morning walk with his dog on the steep ridge trail that overlooked his cabin. “Let the city people keep their technologies for an easier, faster paced life,” he crowed to the dark blue sky. Once he moved into the forest, he lost interest in developing and using new technologies. Now a wealthy man, he was able to let the ebbs and flows of nature run his day.
