In the late-1980s, Sue Lynn was born into a second-generation Chinese-American family living in Los Angeles. A child prodigy, she entered Stanford at the age of sixteen, obtaining degrees in neuroscience and computer science three years later. Shortly after, she was hanging out with the folks at Google, becoming an expert in writing search code. This is when Kobak met her. He funded two of her startups, which were quickly gobbled up for millions of dollars by tech giants. Then she disappeared. In reality, she went to work under her great-uncle Wang Wei, a fact known only by her family. First on alien intelligence, and then extraterrestrial intelligence; she returned to the States only to reappear at Kobak’s so-called s*x party.
