“J-Ja-Jake” I stammered out, trying to stay upright.
“Goddess! f***k!” He pulled his aura in immediately and I sucked in a breath. He pulled me up to his chest, wrapping my legs around him again. I tucked my head into the nook between his neck and chin and I lost it. Everything weighing on me just exploded through my sobs. He just hugged me tighter and let everything melt away. All that remained was the two of us.
