One Mischievous Night

Levi rushed immediately to the meeting room where the panels are waiting. Jaxon himself made it there in the conference area not later than thirty minutes. Both of them led their way to different paths, one to the media and one to the business meeting room. 

Levi's nervous though, he isn't sure himself if he'll get the deal, if only he had caused no trouble to Jaxon yesterday, he will not be doing these things. 

He's not afraid of representing Jaxon as he made it to represent Rebecca a few times, he's just afraid if the panels will like him ever since he got famous in the industry because of Rebecca.

When he got there of course he wouldn't expect everyone to meet him smiling. In fact, they're looking so grumpy because they're actually waiting for Jaxon to arrive. 

When the secretary lead him to his seat, he puts down all the files first and cleared his throat. 

"Good morning everyone, I'm so sorry for the delay that Mr. Jaxon caused but I'm afraid he won't be able to make it today." Levi started, and the murmuring starts again. 

"What do you mean he can't make it? We have a lot of important things to deal with right now! Is he out of his mind?" One of the board members said and Levi smiled apologetically to them. 

"So what will we do now?"

Levi then sighed first before speaking. It seems like the panel members aren't aware of his controversy, so he can now breathe in peace. 

"Actually, I came here to represent Mr., Jaxon instead, so may I request for your attention now?" He asked and the panels surely stopped what they're doing to focus on the business deal that they will discuss. 

On the other side Jaxon called his close friend Alfred who's in line working with the media, He doesn't want to run away from what happened last night but some media sharks wanted to get his attention while spreading such disturbing news. Actually, he's more nervous on Levi who probably started discussing the deal that the other company's will make, but he's sure that Levi would fully get their attention as he could remember Levi being so competent in work. 

"Hey Jaxon I saw what's written in the media, d you need help?" His friends asked, probably waiting for Jaxon to confirm. 

"Can you make an article about the incident that happened? I will call some interviewers so you can have the detail." Jaxon said to his friend. 

"Are you sure about that? You can speak personally if you want? I think that's better than writing." Alfred said and Jaxon sighed. 

He really wants too, he does, but in this time of crisis that's going on in his company; I bet it's not an excellent idea knowing Levi's in his corporation working. He's sure that Rebecca is responsible for the media to come out as he had seen someone follow them last night at the club. 

"It's not the right time yet, please just do me a favor for now," He said and Alfred agreed himself. 

"Sure, you don't have to send some interviewers, you can send me a voice message that's all." 

"Thank you Alfred," 

"Anytime Jaxon," 

Once the phone call ended, Jaxon started recording the details he wants the media to know about. It's not really the full details, but enough for the crowd to at least appreciate the effort he made. 

"Mr. Carson, are you sure that we can come up with this rating after the renovation? How can you be so positive?" The panels started asking Levi before they started signing the deal. 

"I am positive because I've been to many places such around our industry, and there I've seen that designs really matters to people, especially now that social media and gadgets are useful."

"So what does that do?" 

"Well People tends spending their time traveling and get some pictures to advertise the place, now don't you think, if we came to renovate the old ones with fresh ones we'll get the higher sales and higher ratings from free advertisement we get from them and I'm sure that's a plus since we only get to pay half of the advertisement in the future." Levi explained and everyone agreed, Levi definitely highlighted the secret of success. 

As the panel members talk with each other Levi, then designates the files for them to sign the papers and close the deal. 

A few minutes more and then the deal is closed, Levi received such joyful faces from the investors as they want to meet him again someday for their future businesses with him. 

"I'm glad that you represented Mr. Jaxon cause  Levi, you did well." They complimented him. 

"I'm sure Rebecca is not at loss because he lost someone good as you are Mr. Carson." One of them spoke, which made Levi the happiest person ever. 

He's finally getting justice from Rebeccas's evil doings, and sure to prove himself no matter what happens. 

"Thank you, Mr. Carson see you next time," They bid goodbye and when everyone stepped out of the room and he's the only one that's left, he can't wait to paste a big gleeful smile in front of Jaxon's face. 

The only thing is that he's worried. 

He's wondering if Jaxon is doing well handling the media, just the thought of him facing the camera runs a shiver down his spine as he recalls the past moments. I'm sure Jaxon feels bad and so Levi made everything to get the deal in exchange of his apology. 

Once a notification sound rang in his phone he immediately took a read as it the article that Jaxon revealed. 

There Levi's heart melt as he felt guiltiness rush through him. Jaxon's words were enough to mention that he and his friends are the ones who Jaxon is protecting from the such judgemental crowd. Jaxon said in the article that gender doesn't matter as long as you're sure of yourself and is not pretending to be someone else you can never become. 

It's as if Jaxon's refining to Levi, the moment he mentioned all of that. It's like a mirror for him to look at and self reflect in reality, only that Levi's not yet ready.
