After Aryan and Priya left that place, they quickly arrived in a new region. Aryan noticed flames blazing everywhere. Seeing this scene, Priya asked, "Big Brother Aryan, what is happening here?"
Aryan looked around and replied, "I think we may find something valuable here."
Priya asked, "And what would that be?"
Aryan thought for a moment and looked at Priya. When she noticed him staring at her, she said, "Are you still making jokes like this?"
Aryan laughed and replied, "You're misunderstanding me. Why would I need to stare at you? I can do that whenever I want."
Hearing this, Priya's face turned red. However, Aryan quickly continued, "What I mean is that you don't possess a Heavenly Flame."
Priya's expression immediately became serious.
Aryan explained, "The aura here can be sensed because I already possess a Heavenly Flame ranked eighteenth on the Heavenly Flame Ranking. The flame hidden here is at least ranked thirtieth. If you absorb it, your Golden Core will become much stronger, and you may even break through into the Nascent Soul Realm."
Priya was initially delighted, but then she looked at Aryan and said, "I don't need to increase my strength that much. You should absorb it instead."
Aryan shook his head.
"Even if I absorb it, it won't have much effect on me. I'm already in the King Realm and already possess a Heavenly Flame. If this flame were ranked seventeenth, sixteenth, or higher, perhaps it could help me break through. But this one isn't important enough for me."
Priya understood his reasoning, but she still asked, "If it were someone else instead of me, would you still give it away?"
Aryan immediately answered, "Absolutely not. I'm only doing this for you."
Priya remained silent for a moment before asking, "Then where is it?"
Aryan looked toward the vast sea of lava ahead.
"It's beneath that lava. We need to retrieve it from there."
Priya frowned.
"How deep is it?"
Aryan observed the lava sea and replied, "Very deep. Near the core of the lava itself."
Priya was shocked.
"How can I possibly go down there?"
"You won't. I will."
Without giving her a chance to argue, Aryan jumped directly into the sea of lava.
As soon as he entered the lava, he looked around. Red lights glowed in every direction. The deeper regions were difficult to see, but he could still observe the surrounding area. The entire underground world was filled with molten lava.
Aryan began descending deeper and deeper.
As he traveled downward, he sensed something strange.
Countless tiny creatures lived within the lava itself. They seemed to be formed from pure flame essence. What surprised Aryan the most was their cultivation level.
Every single one of them had already reached the peak of the Golden Core Realm.
Aryan continued descending.
However, as soon as he reached a greater depth, the creatures suddenly attacked him.
Aryan was stunned.
He had underestimated them.
These creatures were intelligent enough to sense danger. Aryan carried a Heavenly Flame whose aura was even more terrifying than the flame hidden below. The creatures believed he had come to steal their source of nourishment.
After all, they survived by feeding on the Heavenly Flame beneath the lava. If it disappeared, their entire race would perish.
As a result, they began attacking him relentlessly.
Aryan immediately understood the situation.
He drew a sword.
Although it was not his strongest weapon, it was still a King Realm sword and incredibly powerful.
Aryan began fighting.
His attacks continuously pushed the creatures back, but there were simply too many of them. Their mouths resembled fish, while their bodies were extremely sturdy. Even Aryan's punches could not tear them apart, though they still suffered internal injuries.
Taking a deep breath, Aryan thought,
"Thankfully they're only at the Golden Core Realm. If they were all in the King Realm, even I wouldn't be able to handle them."
No matter how powerful he was, he could not defeat hundreds of King Realm opponents at once.
After some time, Aryan sensed a familiar aura from deeper below.
Without hesitation, he rushed toward it.
He wanted to seize the Heavenly Flame and leave as quickly as possible before encountering even more trouble.
Meanwhile, on the surface, Priya was waiting for him.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her.
Turning around, she discovered Maya approaching with five members of her group.
Priya sighed in relief.
"It looks like you made it safely."
Maya smiled.
"Yes. I ended up in a region filled with water, and my people happened to be there as well. Escaping was easy."
Then Maya suddenly asked,
"Where's Arjun? Isn't he with you?"
When Priya heard the name Arjun, her face immediately turned red.
How could she explain that the person Maya knew as Arjun was actually Aryan?
After a brief moment of thought, she replied,
"Right after you disappeared, he stepped on the same stone and vanished as well. By the time I reached the location, everything had already disappeared, and Aryan was standing there instead."
Maya was surprised.
"So he left?"
Then she looked around.
"Where is Aryan? I don't see him."
Priya hesitated before answering,
"He went into the lava. He said he'd bring me a Heavenly Flame."
Maya was completely shocked.
"What are you talking about? Aryan can't cultivate. If he jumped into lava, he should have burned to ashes. You know that."
Priya shook her head.
"It's not that he can't cultivate. He simply never told anyone about his cultivation."
Maya and the others were stunned.
"You mean he's been able to cultivate all along and deliberately kept it secret?"
Priya nodded seriously.
"What choice did he have? You know the kind of place he grew up in. Countless people wanted him dead. He survived because he hid his strength and carefully planned everything."
Maya looked at her five followers and coldly said,
"This information must never leave this place. If anyone leaks it, I'll kill them."
The five immediately knelt.
"Yes, Young Miss."
Maya then asked,
"How long has he been down there?"
"One day already," Priya answered. "He said it could take weeks."
Maya frowned.
"Can he really withstand that heat?"
Priya replied,
"I don't know how, but he also possesses a Heavenly Flame."
Maya laughed.
"It seems your little husband has many secrets."
Priya glared at her but said nothing.
Maya then suggested,
"If he's already gone down there, let's cultivate while we wait."
The two women dug a cave nearby, creating separate rooms for cultivation. Before starting, they spent some time playing chess together.
Meanwhile, deep beneath the lava, Aryan looked at the battlefield before him and cursed.
"Damn it. I didn't know obtaining this Heavenly Flame would require fighting over two hundred Nascent Soul warriors."
After killing the Golden Core creatures, he had encountered even stronger beings at the Nascent Soul Realm.
Because of this, Aryan had been trapped there for two entire days.
After finally defeating them, he examined his surroundings.
To his surprise, numerous crimson crystals were hanging from the walls.
Aryan picked one up.
The moment he recognized it, his eyes widened.
"Red Flame Crystal!"
He could hardly believe it.
In his previous world, Red Flame Crystals were priceless treasures because they contained fragments of the Law of Fire. They only formed when a Heavenly Flame remained in one location for billions of years while countless life forms perished nearby.
Understanding their value, Aryan immediately began collecting them.
Leaving such treasures behind would be a complete waste.
When he finished gathering them all, he counted more than two hundred crystals.
His heart filled with joy.
The hardships of the past two days suddenly felt worthwhile.
Taking a deep breath, Aryan continued descending.
The deeper he went, the more the environment changed.
Eventually, he reached the bottom.
There, he discovered a massive crimson barrier.
Inside the barrier was something that caused Aryan's breathing to stop.
His eyes widened in disbelief.
He was so shocked that he completely forgot about the unbearable heat of the lava.
He rubbed his eyes and stared again at the object sealed within the crimson barrier... and what he saw left him utterly speechless
