Hearing we had a border breach was nerve-wracking. Then sitting on a horse covered in armor would have been remarkable if it weren’t awful seeing our warriors turn on us. I am not sure what made me remember that Rain could cleanse possessed people with her fire, but I did, and watching her, Delaney, and Nova’s work was astonishing.
The white flame engulfed the warriors but did not burn them; instead, they pushed the demon out, and they returned to hell where they belonged. I needed to get back to the clan's house to talk to dad. I am not sure how demons got to our men, but this indicates the evil that is coming. I understand why we have all the help we have, including an angel.
We arrive back at the barn, and everyone goes about getting their horse taken care of. No one speak
