It had been a long night. I had gotten a mind link from Ethan, updating me on Brittney’s condition. She still hadn't woken up yet and there was a scare for a moment when her heart monitor started going crazy, but as soon as Ethan touched her, it went back to normal. I asked him if he wanted me to stay with her for a while so he could get some rest, but he declined and said that he didn't want to leave her side until she had woken up. In the morning, I decided to take Tobias to the tree that my father had shown me. I wanted to share this with him. As we walked up the stairs and into the room with all the carvings, Tobias stopped and stood there in amazement at how big this place was. I took him through to the library and he just smiled at me.
