Chapter Eighteen
When Kate arrived at Dark Star, Tiger was waiting, his elbows propped on the roof of his silver-gray Lamborghini. He straightened when he saw her Honda, gave her a cheery wave and, tossing his suit jacket onto the passenger seat, he dropped down into the low-slung automobile. Kate heard the ripping sound, like a wood-chipper, as he backed out of his spot and pointed the nose of the vehicle toward the gate.
Kate followed.
Tiger turned west out of the parking lot, toward the ocean.
