After "that night" we were not able to talk properly about what happened. He received call from someone and went back to US because of some business emergency that he needs to attend to which I didn't asked further since it's not something I should be sticking my nose to. He said he'd probably be there for a week or two. Its a good news for me because I don't really know how to face him after what happened.
