In between bouts of consciousness or, more accurately, awareness, Alyssalee could hear various Undivine chatting, sometimes about her. She concentrated on staying awake or aware of her surroundings. One thing was constant. Every time she had her mental faculties, Sophie was there. Whether it was whispering silly stories from her past or words admonishing her to fight and wake up, Sophie was there.
