Arthur coughed nervously as he stared at the two handsome people before him. "Your appearances have gone beyond my expectations." In his head, he continued. 'No wonder there are no shortages of half beasts in the world. With looks like that, which woman would deny them.' Thinking to that point, he couldn't help but worry about the state of his daughter. "The matter is really simple. In the next year is the admission exams of the most prestigious institution of the kingdom, Xyren Academy. Out of the 5000 youngsters that will apply for academy, only 500 will gain admission. The jurisdiction with the most amount of youngsters who succeed will be given a sort of increase in resources..." "So more money." Kyle guessed as he shook his head. "Yes. That is the reason why the Duke of Bairon wants to swallow my County. Belgrave Academy trains the best students. Although he would get some of the resources given to me, he still isn't satisfied, he wishes to have my people under his banner and his only. So, as I said your mission is quite simple. With this failed raid of his, he wishes to recruit outer students in his owned Academy and allow them head for the exams. You only have to pose as humans to get in. Within a year, I expect you to find a way to not only rope in as much students as you can find, but also create as much internal conflict as you can." Kyle smiled. "That seems as easy as it can be. I've been wanting to take a proper look at the human way of using Magic. So I'll assume that the cores we used before served as the payment." Arthur smiled. "Yes. When do you plan to leave?" Kyle blinked. "Now, of course. I've committed the map given by Principal Lionel to memory so I'll be heading to Bairon County (Capital of the Bairon Region)." He stood up and led Alex out of the room. "Haha! Finally, we can let loose! Let's show those snotty noble humans hell!" Alex only smiled as they both cast the Fiery Wings spell and flew forward into the air. Once far away from the view of any life, two pillars of flames erupted, indicating their transformation back to their beast forms. {Hah~, finally some comfort.} Alex sighed in relief as he controlled his large fox body. Even Kyle, who was a human before this, couldn't help but feel uncomfortable in his human body. It wasn't at the level of Alex's but it was uncomfortable nonetheless. In the end, who didn't want wings. {Oh} Kyle grinned as he looked at the beasts that had taken the time to surround them. {We have guests.} Alex grinned along with him as both of them released their Rank 3 auras along with a torrent of flames. {I was hungry anyways.} ***** In the end, it took 6 days to arrive at the Bairon Region. This was because they had to take stops increasing their strengths. In the end, when in their human forms, with only 30% strength, they barely hung at the Rank 3. In this 6 days, they had raised their strength to a level where even their human forms where purely at Rank 3. At the moment the two stood before the instructor of Bairon Academy's recruit exam. Looking at the devilishly handsome faces of the two, the man's face couldn't help but twitch while a feeling of shame arose in his heart. But quickly, that shame twisted into anger as he harrumphed. Seeing this, Kyle couldn't help but sigh. Indeed, being too good looking brought about multitudes of issues. Thinking to this point, he coughed slightly as he bowed to the instructor. "Hello. I and my friend here wish to attempt the Bairon Academy's exam." The man harrumphed again as he spoke in arrogance. "Of course. To you, peasants, this is an opportunity of a lifetime. To be able to enter MY prestigious academy as a commoner is a complete blessing." It was evident this guy was just appeasing his own cracked heart by saying this. Obviously revitalized by his own words, he beckoned to the two as he walked into a building. The two were led into a battle stage spanning the size of about three football fields. The instructor showed a grin as he looked at the two. "The two of you will take a side of the stage. Two Armored Puppets will be your opponents, one for each. During battle, the number on their chests steadily increases, which each number, there is an increase to their strength. If you can make it to number 5, it means you have reached the required amount to gain admission and if you reach 8, you can gain the right to be admitted as a Privilege student." The two nodded and walked into the stage, each taking a smile but behind them, the instructor's face was twisted into a malevolent expression. The two sized up the 3 meter tall machine before them with a number '2' on it and smiled confidently. Unknown to them, the surrounding students were snickering as they looked at the set up. "Ah, it seems Ryan got pissed off again, he actually set the puppets at level 2. To these two releasing Rank 3 early stage auras, it will be impossible to get to level 5." "It seems they are quite handsome. Hehe, the guy actually got angry because of that." As they were also students of the academy, the crowd knew the duo had been cheated. Plus they knew of their fellow classmate, Ryan's, attitude. The puppets started from level 1 to allow beginners get used to its movements so they could avoid injuries in the later stages and so they could develop their own strategy against it. If one used Kyle's system as the reference, every level increased the machine's strength by 25 levels. Of course this was based on the people that were placed against it. However, there were naturally some who couldn't stand the mistreatment given to the youths. A certain female walked to Ryan as she yelled out. "Ryan stop your rubbish!" Yet he still smirked and yelled. "BEGIN!!!" The two immediately jumped back as the machines struck forward with oppressing might. The duo acted in the same way, a pair of bird wings constructed with flames roared to life behind them and increased their speed as they dodged in a frenzy. Ryan laughed as he watched them the same way one watched chickens about to be butchered. Seeing this the woman by his side glared at him. "Don't you have the least bit of decency within you?! I demand you to stop the exam!" Again, he only smirked as he shrugged with mock sympathy. "I'm sorry, princess. The rules can't be changed, they either lose badly or win." But she sneered. "Or they can surrender right?" The smug expression on his face finally changed. 'Dammit, I forgot about that.' The woman turned to the two and yelled out. "Hey, you two! Surrender, the exam has been rigged! You are advised to surrender!" Unexpectedly, the two turned to her even while dodging. Kyle laughed as he slapped aside the arm of the puppet (His weight didn't decrease despite the transformation.). "Thanks miss. But we've got this." The woman finally frowned as she heard that. "I'm trying to help you... " Her words died in her throat as she heard five words from the duo. ""Grand Magic: Hell's Lands!"" BOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!
