2 - Right World, Wrong Body

Kyle wandered the forest with no aim whatsoever. His reptilian eyes stared forward with boredom as he walked forward.
Over the past month he had grown used to his beast body completely and was okay with eating beasts, well he grilled it with his Fire Control. He had spent the time travelling aimlessly to train his Fire Control skill and he was actually getting good at it. At the moment he couldn't do anything but a wave of fire but he had also learnt a nifty trick of infusing the fire into his claws to make it sharper. Most importantly, he had leveled up a lot. In truth, it would be even more but finding light attribute beasts was not easy. There was a choice of just binge eating the cores that appeared before him but Kyle basically craved returning to a human body. 'I entered the right world but was placed in the wrong body. System Status.'

Kyle sighed. Out of his skills, it could be said that he mostly wanted to level up the Mana related ones. He didn't believe that getting a human body was as easy as snapping a finger.
He suddenly stopped and glanced at a random position of the forest before smirking. At the position he was staring at, a halo of light could be seen rising to the sky. He crouched down before bursting forward with full speed. A flare suddenly lighted up over him, resulting in a similar halo of fire surrounding him. This was the Flame Aura that he had gained by luck, it's effect was an increase in stats when used.
The beast he was after soon appeared before him. It was a light attributed Fox, it sported some wounds on its body with a deadly one at its shoulder. In front of it was a flame attributed Fox with a more injured status. 'Analyze.'

Host is advised to be careful. Both beasts possess thick percentages of the ancient Tailed Fox bloodline increasing their IQ beyond normal beasts. About as smart as a 10 year old. The second beast possesses intelligence equivalent to a teenager.

Kyle was surprised. He didn't expect variants like these to exist. What shocked him was that they actually had magic while he was just at Basic Fire Control. Especially the Fire Fox, it seemed the bloodline within that beast was purer than the Saint Fox. His eyes sparkled as a plan crept into his mind.
He quickly gathered Mana into his throat for a Breath Attack. Still, Kyle was surprised by the intelligence of the two beasts. At their levels it was easy to sense influx of Mana in their environment and create a shield of their respective element but he scoffed at this, from what he knew, his breath attack was obscenely strong for Rank 1 being assumed as his gift from whoever reincarnated him.
The red colored beam was able to actually destroy the shield of the beast 4 times stronger than he was and still pierce its skin. Its health immediately went down to the 300s.
The Fire Fox also took the initiative to attack. With a growl, multiple spears made of condensed fire Mana appeared before being launched at the Saint Fox. But it defended itself by creating a golden dome around itself leading to it loosing more Mana. With the appearance of the dome, not only were the spears blocked but its minor injuries also began healing.
'Oh no you don't.' Kyle straightened his claws like a sword before thrusting it at the shield with his Flame Aura concentrated at his hand. Unfortunately, his pitiable level made him too weak for that and even the Fire Fox tried nothing. Having understood this, Kyle did nothing but waited while dispelling his Flame Aura.
Now the two beasts circled the poor Saint Fox waiting for it to come out. The monster appeared to be struggling with a choice until, finally, it's dome was dispelled. The two jumped at it at that point with their Flame Auras activated and multiple spells in the air.
The Saint Fox was smart, it actually allowed the spells and Kyle's attack pierce its skin and used the chance thrust a light spear into the Fire Fox's shoulder making it fly back and whimper in pain.
Kyle immediately understood that things weren't looking up for him. He quickly tried to copy the spears of concentrated fire Mana but could only make an instable lump of fire Mana. Seeing this, he actually smiled as he launched it at the Fox in time for the lump to explode with unrestrained power. His claws once again became the concentrated point of his body as he pierced at the beast. He removed his hand and in it, one could see a tennis ball size golden orb. Looking at the dead Fox, he couldn't help but grunt happily as he swallowed the orb.

He stood straight while his Flame Aura burned even brighter implying his readiness for battle. Yet he was stunned as he watched a silver colored Mana thread tap on his forehead before a voice resounded clearly within his mind. 'I don't wish to fight.'
Kyle's mouth opened so wide one could probably fit an orange in it.
