A sharp pain shot up my body as I felt the car hit a bump. It caused me to take in a fast, sharp inhale of air and groan of displeasure. The man who had found me in the car had moved me to the passenger seat and had tried to dress my wound as best as he could, given the circumstances. I held my hand against my side holding the wrappings against them. We hit another bump, and my hand shot forward to grab his arm. “Slow down!” I tried to say as I screamed in pain. My eyes couldn’t focus on the vehicle’s roof as we drove along. The pain kept shooting up my side in waves. I felt cold.
