Chapter 18

Nick's been home 2 days now and seems like he's back to himself. We have arranged our first official date for tonight. I leave his apartment and I haven't mentioned marking to him but Melody and I are going crazy. We want to carry his mark and for him to carry ours. I make my way home to get ready. I take a really long hot shower letting the water beet my skin. I can't believe I'm finally going on a date. I jump out and get on with drying my hair. I'm going to have it in loose curls  so I put in some rollers and keep adding heat. I leave them in as I apply make-up I choose a smokey eye with a red lip. 

I pull on a black dress that matches his wolf and pair it with the shoes from my birthday. It's the only thing that survived my transformation. I take out the rollers and let my curls fall  running my hands through my hair. I look over my appearance and can't decide if I'm too done up so I remove my make up and just apply a little like I normally do. I also grab my Van's comfy shoes to make me happy. So I throw the heels in my bag and take them with me. 

Nick POV 

I'm feeling so much better now Isla has been amazing so we are going on our first date tonight. I've planned the whole evening we are going for a picnic like we did when we were children but the waterfall on her packs land I have planned everything within an inch of its life. The food, the spot is already set up. I got Lynnett to help out with that and John has warned no one is to go there under any circumstances. I look at the time and I know I have to get myself ready. So I jump into the shower letting the hot water beat against my skin. I climb out and towel dry my wavy hair trying to take it. Not that it helps. I find a pair of black jeans and pull on a white shirt and my converse. I don't know why but I'm feeling nervous. I've never felt like this before. I want to bring up marking with her but I don't know how she will feel.  Is it too soon? We still have a lot to sort out and she doesn't even know where my pack is from. 

I take the lift down to my office and see Jack stood there with everything I have asked for. Right down to the flowers that I have had specially put together so they have moon flowers in. “Go get her boss”, he says with a big grin. If I wasn’t so happy and nervous I probably would have said something. I make my way to the car and double check I have everything. I pull up at the pack house and leave my car there. I take a walk to where Lynnett has set candles and the picnic blanket ready. I lay everything out and reach for my phone just as I unlock it Isla rings. I answer "where are you? I thought you said you were coming here?" 

“Come find me gorgeous,'' I say and hang up the phone, smirking. I know I'm going to pay for that.

Isla POV

Come find me come find me. When I get my hands on him I'm going to wipe that dumb smirk off his face that I know he has. “Good thing I put these on” I say looking down at my feet. I take a deep breath and catch a whiff of him. I follow the scent to the clearing by the waterfall and what I see brings tears to my eyes. He is stood with a picnic blanket on the ground surrounded by candles. I run to him wrapping my arms around him.

“I shouldn't talk to you after that stupid call” I scold but unable to stay mad at him “you did all of this” I say gesturing around us 

“Well I did have a little help, you wouldn't leave me long enough to do it all myself”.

he chuckles rubbing the back of his neck he leans down and picks up the most incredible  bunch of flowers with moon flowers in. 

“I didn't know you could have moon flowers in bouquets” I say. 

“Well I remembered the flower in your hair the night of your ceremony”. He says looking down. I place a tender kiss on his cheek and he gestures for us to sit. 

“You look incredible tonight” he says pushing my hair behind my ear. I blush. 

“There is something in want to ask you” we say on stereo “after you” I say

“No, no, after you” he insists. 

“Well remember before we went to get my father?”. I say playing with my hands nervously. He takes them in his and kisses then instantly helping me relax. “Well we talked about marking each other and I know it's probably way too soon and you probably don’t want to do it. I should never have brought it up” I say, taking my hand back and covering my face. 

“You are adorable Isla, that is the exact thing I was going to say to you”. 

“It was?” I say lowering my hands

“Yes, never have I wanted something more,” he says. I move closer to him taking his face in my hands pulling him into a kiss my fingers tangling into his hair. He moves me so I'm laying on the blanket and trails kisses down my neck when he reaches the tender spot placing kisses gently. He looks up at me, desire in his eyes “may I?” he says. I nod and in no time at all I feel his teeth break my skin, I wince in pain for a split second when he kisses and licks at the mark to help it heal I am filled with so much emotion I can feel everything he feels both of our wolves are howling. I flip him over so I'm on top it's my turn to make him. I trail kisses down his neck but take them all the way to his collarbone. He gasps with pleasure. I trail my kisses back up to his tender spot looking at his for permission which he gives. I graze my teeth along the skin and slowly make my mark as my teeth pierce the skin. I kiss and lick at the wound. The feelings we get are out of this world. I look at him breathless. “I love you Nick” 

“And I love you Isla”. I take his hand and drag him with me off the top of the ledge and into the water. 

“What the” he yells as we fall and hit the water. I come up laughing but Nick hasn't come up. I can't see him. I start to panic as suddenly arms snake around me and pull me in close.

“I thought we could do with a cooling off,” I say innocently.

“Ahh yes a cool off” he walks me so I'm wedged between the rocks of the waterfall pool and him. Looking in his eyes I can feel his passion, his desire. His hand drifts up to my chest and pulls down the top half of my dress and ripping off my bra freeing my breasts. He takes them in his hand then spreads kisses across them making me moan with pleasure as he nips at my n*****s. I feel his member pressing against my thigh. I try to release him from his trousers. But he takes my hand above my head 

Oh no you don't that is for when we mate for the first time he says letting out a low growl. 

I splash him pulling back up the top of my dress and skim to climb out. He tries to catch me but I manage to get away. I run laughing back up to the picnic basket absolutely starving. As he reaches me he grabs a bottle and 2 glasses from the basket we sit there looking at the moon just enjoying the company. We call it a night and head back to the house hand in hand. We reach the door and I pull him in close dragging him through the door and up to my room. I drop my clothes and run to the shower Nick stalks in and joins me. He takes the body wash and puts some in his hands rubbing them together he starts to massage it into my skin, a moan escapes my lips. Melody, so eager to pounce on him and take him here in the shower. I fight her back and just enjoy the intimacy. I take the shower gel and do the same for him massaging every inch he will allow me to. His member still being off limits once we are done he carries me out of the shower to my bed where we both lay entwined with each other naked. Never would I have pictured laying naked with someone.” I love you” I whisper 

“I love you too” he says placing a kiss on my forehead as we both drift to sleep.
