Chapter 29
The walk takes about 45 minutes which we spend walking hand in hand and mostly in silence. As we reach a small clearing Nick looks to me "we are here. Are you ready?" "Yes" I say in a small voice. "Why am I so nervous" I scold myself, obviously saying it louder than I had intended to. "Don't be nervous," Nick says squeezing my hand. "Remember you are a fearless Alpha who carried not just one person but 2 people to safety, whilst injured" Nick's eyes begin to darken and a smile creeps across my face.
