The freshman party is over, and for a moment you don't know where to go.
After taking two steps along the crowd, you hear a loud bang coming from a building behind you.
The crowd is all stunned by the explosion, frozen in place, watching wisps of smoke fly out of the building not far away.
[Passerby A]
"What the hell, is this going to blow up the school building?"
[Passerby B]
"Isn't that the experimental building? It's probably some student doing an experiment that accidentally failed."
[Passerby C]
"It's JK, right?"
Listening to the answers of the students around you, you were a bit confused, only hearing a slightly familiar name - JK.
You had flipped through a lab manual of who knows who during an accidental discovery five years ago.
It was a chance encounter, and RM had taken you to a lab exclusive to the upper echelons of the Federation.
RM was holding your hand, saying that he would show you around, and within two steps you were stopped by someone who said it was important.
RM was slightly distressed, but in the end he reluctantly bent down to be at your level.
[RM]
"Aria, I have to go take care of things now, can Aria stay alone and not run around?"
You naturally say yes, after all, you're not familiar with this place, and wandering around is not a good thing with you.
RM sees you nod and strokes your head in slight relief, slipping a few pieces of candy into your hand.
[RM]
"Make sure you don't wander off while your brother is gone, I'm sure Aria can do it."
RM rarely calls you Aria directly, he always finds it too mushy and awkward.
"Little one" has always been his exclusive title for you, Jin has asked him to change it, but he still calls you that.
Of course, you didn't care.
Names are just titles, not to mention you've forgotten what your name used to be.
[RM was still whispering to the assistant beside him as he hurriedly left.
[RM]
"How did you let him get away?"
You only catch the key word 'run away', but that's not something you should worry about.
You swear you really just wanted to stay put and wait for RM to come back.
You spread out your hand and counted the candies RM had slipped you.
The glazed sugar paper wrapped in assorted colors of fruit candies looked enticing.
One, two, three ......
Before you could finish counting, the candy escaped from your palm and fell to the edge of the floor.
You mentally prayed that it wouldn't fall while you stepped closer to the piece of candy.
God forbid, the pink piece of candy fell.
You were torn in a million directions as to whether or not you should go down and pick it up, but you promised the RM that you would stay put and not run around.
The truth is, never expect too much from a child who doesn't have much judgment, certainly some of them.
And you happen to be one of those kids.
You should be glad you softened up and asked for Jin's nameplate when you left the house.
As you pass through each security gate, there's that line.
[Machine]
"Commander Jin, hello."
Looking at the door that lights up green, you pat yourself on the back and make your way down to the lower level unimpeded.
And as a result, you of course managed to pick up the piece of candy.
And as you got up, your eyes fell on the hidden door across from you.
The curiosity of a child is the worst, and you eventually couldn't resist and walked in.
It's a very neat lab, and it looks like the owner of the room has some cleanliness issues.
You're just tall enough to stand on your tiptoes and see what's on the desktop.
So you see a book spread out.
You don't remember much about the book, except for a picture of a young boy who seems to be about your age.
You try hard to try and piece together the fragmented memories.
Project 613, second batch of experimental subjects, JK ......
So you know, JK's name.
With another gasp from the crowd, your attention returns to the smoking experimental building.
[Passerby A].
"It's like this, and no one's put out the fire yet?"
[Passerby C]
"There are people in the building, right, why isn't anyone going to save them?"
You're nervous too, but you don't know what to do.
This is when the wind in your ears becomes faster and brushes through the ends of your hair.
All you see is a black shadow, rushing into the building.
[Passerby D]
"...... It's Instructor Suga!"
Still pondering why they knew who it was, you got the answer you wanted, as expected.
[Passerby B]
"That's Suga's mecha."
Immediately after that, you saw a person fall straight down from a window.
The hearts of the crowd were in their throats, and the silence around you was as if only the sound of breathing existed.
Then a thin man appeared in front of you, his black hair slightly disheveled by the wind, but his standing posture was straight.
