When trackers came into my office I could see mixed feelings on their faces, which means that something didn't go as we planned.
"So what's the news?" - I asked them.
"Alpha, we followed the scent but the trail suddenly ended in the middle of nowhere. We suspect they used something to mislead us."
"That's disappointing. Show me where exactly you've lost the track." - I showed him a satellite picture on which Mel was marking an area she learned from our prisoners.
"That's the place." - he said pointing to the clearing in the woods. - "But Alpha, there's more."
"What is it?" - I asked
"After further investigation the clearing where we lost the trail we came across a letter addressed to Luna."
