CHAPTER 30 MIA“So, your mother?” Michael asked on our way back to his house. The moon was glowing brightly up above, and I watched it as we drove down the desolate streets. “Does she know?” I took a deep breath through my nose and nodded. “Yes, and so does Serena.” He paused and stopped at a stoplight, glancing over at me. “I’m sorry.
