Sausha POV

'i walked outside after my shift from work and Antwan was right there sitting in his car. i walked over and got in and he gave me a quick peck on the lips and we headed off in the direction of my moms house. the ride was silent, but comfortable. we make it over to my moms and im just hoping shes been okay. i wonder if shes knows that Darren is dead. prolli not. i unlocked the door and walk into the house seeing my mom in the kitchen cooking and some man sitting at the table. erm.... okay ? looks like shes doing more than good i guess huh ? my mama mustve got her groove back.'

Sausha: hey mama

Tammy(mom): oh hey baby. how you been ? ive been missing you. are you okay ? whoo is this young man ? where have you been staying ? are you eating ? staying hydrated ?

Sausha: mom calm down. breath. ive been good. im okay. this is my boyfriend Antwan King. ive been staying with him. im eating and ive been hydrated.

Twan: nice to meet you Ms.

Tammy: call me Tammy. its nice to meet you young man. boy you are handsome and i hope youve been taking care of my daughter. shes the only one i got well maybe.

Twan: yes maam

Sausha: what do you mea maybe ?

Tammy: im pregnant by Dwayne over there *point to Dwayne*

'i keep forgetting my mom can still have kids.'

Sausha: what about umm.... Darren ?

Tammy: oh him ? we werent dating. i just told you that so it wouldnt be weird just moving somebody in here just to stay for a while. i dont know where he went and i dont care. Dwayne is moving in since your moving out on me.

'i nod and tell her that Twanny said that he'll pay half over every bill and Dwayne said that wont be needed and that he has it. i like Dwayne, he seems like a good man for my mama. mom really likes Twan and im happy about that. of course we had to tell her Dwayne that hes a drug dealer, but they didnt seem to mind and kind already figured it out. after we got done talking i went to my room to get more of my things and i feel arms wrap around my waist as im looking at the pictures on my wall. i turn my head it was of course Twanny looking down at me. i smiled and turned back around.'

Antwan POV

'i was standing behind my Saushy looking at the pictures on her wall with her, but one stood out the most. it was her and this guy kissing and then on next to it with them side hugging. it kinda bugs me that its still on her wall because i know they broke up a long time ago. you can tell. she doesnt look the same and the clothes they had on were for Winter. so it had to be a year or so ago.'

Twan: whos that nigga you kissing in that picture right there ?

Sausha: thats um... Darnell. we broke up a year and a half ago.

Twan: then why is it still on your wall ?

Sausha: never really got the time to take it down i guess.

Twan: mmhmm, get some things so we can leave. i wanna make you dinner.

Sausha: oh lawd. okay.

'im gonna figure out who this Darnell cat is tonight. im tired of hearing his name already. she gets some more things, we say bye to her mom and Dwayne and head out back to the house. when we get to the house we went upstairs and i told her that she bring her things to OUR room. while she was doing that i made her a bubble bath. when i came out the bathroom she was sitting on the bed.'

Twan: go get in the tub. i made you a bubble bath. food should be down by the time you out. wear something nice

Sausha: okay, thank you.

'she walks into the bathroom and closes the door and i make my way downstairs to finish dinner. i got a head start while she was at work. i hope she likes it.'
