When it came to innocent children, especially when our kind people had a hard time getting pregnant the first couple of years, and also the wolves who struggled alongside us, children were precious to our kind. We do not take it lightly when anyone threatens their lives. They don't even have to be mine to become overprotective of these children. Even if I never have any, I will always choose any child's safety first. Even before mates and even before my own life. That's how precious they are. Hybrids are the ones who can concieve children easily.
