The last bell of the day rang, and I was walking with Jace to the school parking lot, clutching onto his arm. I had wrapped my cardigan around me, but I was still freezing. My arms hugged his hard biceps, latching onto him like a second limb. Probably listening to my teeth chatter, Jace hooked his arm around my waist, pulling my back onto his chest. Goosebumps formed all over my skin and I couldn't help but melt into his warmth.
"I have football practice. I've skipped too many." He mumbled against my neck.
