Anna was overacting.
She completely freaked out when I tried to talk to her. Even Aiden and Izzy were even worried when she started yelling and screaming at me before she stormed into one of the spare bedrooms. When I slowly opened the door, she was retreated to the very edge of the bed, the covers pulled over her shoulder. Her long hair was sprawled across the pillow, and her discarded jeans were chucked carelessly on the floor.
As I carefully slipped into bed next to her, she didn’t move a muscle. I inched closer and closer to her and as soon as I touched her cold, icy skin, she pushed me away. Recoiling, she violently shrugged away my touch. I sensed the irritation and anger seeping through the bond.
