The phone buzzed in my hand as I leaned against the wooden desk in my office. The name "Annalisa" flashed across the screen. I sighed. I already knew why she was calling.
"Hello?" I answered, bringing the phone to my ear.
"Kieran!" Her voice was filled with excitement. "You didn't call me after you left. Are you busy?"
I pinched the bridge of my nose. "I was handling some things. What's wrong?"
