Everything was dark and still. But not cold. I didn’t feel pain or fear. I didn’t feel anything.
Until suddenly, I did.
A soft warmth spread across my skin, like sunlight brushing against me. I opened my eyes slowly, expecting to see my room or Kieran’s face or even the hallway.
But this, this was something else.
I was standing in a vast space. It stretched endlessly in every direction. The ground beneath my feet shimmered like stardust, and above me, the sky was full of swirling lights. Blues, purples, golds. It was like walking through the night sky itself.
"Where... where am I?" I whispered.
My voice echoed.
Then I realized that I wasn't standing. I was floating.
My feet weren’t touching the ground. I was gliding forward as if the air itself was carrying me.
