I didn’t say anything to Annalisa.
I couldn’t.
I turned my back to her and rushed down the hall toward the testing room. My heart was beating so fast it felt like it would break through my chest. Atlas was pacing in my head.
It has to be a match, he growled. It has to be.
"Please, Moon Goddess," I whispered under my breath. "Let me help her."
Adrian was already inside. He looked up when I came in and shook his head. "I got tested. I'm not a match," he said. "I made two of the nurses check too. No luck. Katherine's blood type is really rare."
