"So cause Dion said stay outta this, you listen ta' him without talkin ta' me bout it?" Kacy asked. His arms were folded over his chest and he was leaning against the doorframe of the hotel room. Karma sat on the edge of the bed, with a sad look on her face "I didn't think it'd be such a big deal. I know he only said it cause of what happen to me so I just listened." Kacy chuckled to himself and walked over to the bed. He sat on the edge of the bed by Karma "You do know we in a relationship right? Tell me what that me ta' you ma. What's the two things I said are important in a relationship?" "You said communication and honesty" "Iight ya remembered. So what's this? This ain't communication or honesty" "Kacy really? I really don't think its this serious" she mumbled. "Oh forreal?" He asked with a smile on his face "Iight cool" he stood up and Karma reached out for him but he yanked his arm away "Don't touch me right now" and with that, he walked out the hotel room and slammed the door. Kacy's mad because although him and Karma supposed to be together, she isn't acting like it in his eyes. There's a lot of things Kacy doesn't know about, but he's sure its a rule somewhere to always talk things out with your significant other, no matter how small the issue. Instead of going outside, Kacy walked to Dion's hotel room which was next door to his. He knocked on the door and when Dion answered, Kacy couldn't help but laugh. "Wassup with you? Ya feel its iight ta' tell my girl what she can and can't do?" He asked. Dion stared at Kacy blankly "Ion need you ta' try and control her. You cool with that?" "Kacy dead ass, get out my face. Karma been knowing me since forever and ain't no recent nigga about come and change our relationship" "Naw, that's where ya wrong. I do plan on bein round fa' a long ass time. I ain't goin nowhere, so like I said. Ion need ya ta' say s**t ta' her bout nothing. Its her life, let her live it as she wants. Ya services ain't needed no more. I'm here now" Kacy smirked. He turned to walk off when Dion pulled him back and sent a fist to his face. Kacy chuckled as he flew into the wall. He wiped the blood from his face and charged at Dion, knocking him to the floor sending blow after blow. All the noise got the attention of the rest of the crew, including Karma. Everyone tried hard to break up the fight, and ended up pulling Kacy off Dion. "What the f**k is wrong with you guys?" Karma yelled as Kacy and Dion glared at each other "Have y'all lost ya mind?" Nobody said nothing. Slim pushed Kacy outside the hotel and Morgan pulled Dion in his room. Karma sighed and ran her hands through her wild curly hair. "Go check on your man first Karma. Dion's ok" Ash said as she walked back into her room with Kat behind her. Karma rushed to the elevator and when she ended up on the first floor, she saw Kacy and Slim outside. His face had a few cuts, and his eyebrow was cut too. Karma grabbed some tissue on the way out and approached him "You ok Kacy?" She asked. Slim walked back inside. "I'm good" he nodded, taking a drag of his blunt. Karma started to wipe the blood from his face "Ya checked on Dion first huh?" He asked. "No, I came out here first" "Shocking" he chuckled "Considering the fact that you care fa' him more than ya care fa' me, I woulda thought he'd be ya main priority" he looked down at Karma as she stopped cleaning his face "Ya know, I though us bein together woulda been good. I thought we woulda made this s**t work. I knew you and Dion was close, and knew each other fa' awhile but I thought you could send some of that love and care my way. But I was wrong" "Kacy what a-" "I'm sayin you and Dion will foreva be joined together, no matter what. You've known him longer, so he'll always come first ta' you. And ion play second fiddle ta' anyone baby girl. " "You're not second Kacy. I promise you're not" her voice cracking as she thought the worse. It sounded like he was breaking up with her. "I can't tell Karma" he chuckled, letting the smoke exit through his nose and mouth. He didn't say anything else, just stared at her with a blank look on his face but a load of emotions in his eyes. Karma wiped her single tear before turning away and went to the elevator, before going up to her room. Before going into her room, she checks on Dion. He opened the door with an ice pack on his jaw. "Wassup Karma?" He mumbled. "What you need?" "I came to check and see if you're ok. How's your jaw?" "Its iight. You went to check on Kacy first huh? I'm not surprised" Karma scrunched her face up in confusion "What you mean? He's my boyfriend, I had to check on him" "But I'm your friend. I've known you longer, and you just met him and you already putting him before me." "Dion i-" "Bye Karma" he closed the door in her face. ******* "Sweetie its been almost 2 weeks. Don't you think it's time to stop running and go face them?" Karmas dad asked. "I'm sure if you explain their roles to them, they'll understand baby girl" "Daddy, I don't think that'll work. They've been ignoring me, and haven't even called or text to see if I'm ok." Karma shrugged "They don't care" "Don't say that sweetie. You of all people know if someone cares about you or not. They do care" her dad sighed "I gotta go before I'm late for work. Love you" he kissed her forehead. "Love you too daddy" she pushed herself off the couch and dragged herself up the stairs and to her room. She took a long and much needed shower, before putting on her pajama dress and climbing into bed. Just as she turned the TV on, her phone rang. Mom. "Hey ma" she mumbled as she focused back on the TV "Wassup" "Wassup? I haven't seen you in God knows how long. I got these people coming to my house saying they can't find you. Where the hell you at Karma Marie?" "Daddy's house. Don't tell anyone" Her mom sighed "You know I don't like you over there Karma" "I know ma. But this the only other place I feel safe, and nobody knows where he lives. That's why I'm here" "Well your friends keep stopping by to see if you're here. They're worried about you" "Yea I bet" Karma chuckled. "Kacy stopped by" her mom said "He wanted me to pass on message" "What is it?" "He needs to see you and he misses you. Karma, the poor boy looked like he was on the verge of tears and destruction. Go see him" "Why couldn't we talk when I was already there? He ignored me and wanted nothing to do with me" "Not everyone's like you K. They can't just sit down and talk after something happens. Some people need to walk away and think before they say or do something. " again, her mom sighed "Just talk to him. And Dion ok?" "Alright ma. Love you, bye" she hung up the phone and tossed it on the bed. "Now they worried about me" she mumbled. Hours passed and Karma didn't just want to pop up, so she kept thinking of excuses or reasons to show. She heard a loud buzzing sound and got up to find what was making that noise. She found the untraceable phone José gave her a few days before, and she had an unread message. Hello, my friends. I have your first job. There's a man named Andrew, 38, that has stolen $500,000 from me a few weeks ago. He can't be found anywhere, and he has no known family members or friends. His last know address is 11563 south 41st street and he used to work as a construction worker over on 89th. His last known whereabouts was Chicago, but hasn't been seen for a few days. Ed, will attend you all on this trip and help you with whatever you may need help with. The objective is to find and kill Andrew, and bring back my money. There's no time limit, but please keep me updated on how things are going. I appreciate the help, and thank u my friends. Karma smiled a little as she hopped out the bed and started getting dressed. She threw on a hoodie jacket and shorts with Nike slides. Pulling up to Morgans house, she sees everyone's car in the driveway and she parked on the side. "Man, this s**t is exciting as f**k" Slim smiled as everyone sat at Morgan's dining room table. "Yea right. So who's doing what?" Kat asked "Like positions" "Do what y'all good at. We all shooters right?" Morgan asked "Who's good with electronic s**t" "Karma" Kacy mumbled, sitting back into the chair. Nobody could disagree with that either. A light knock came at the front door and Ash stood up to answer it. She screamed loud when she saw Karma standing there, and the hugged each other tight. "I missed you so much" Ash smiled. "I missed you too" Karma smiled pulling away. Ash grabbed Karmas hand, and pulled her inside the dining room. "Guess who's here?" Kat jumped up and hugged Karma tight, along with everyone else. Except Kacy and Dion. Karma took a seat between Kat and Ash. "So when do we start?"
