The party had been going on for an hour and Kacy still hasn't showed up. Karma was sitting in the back of the club sipping on her water and having a good time watching everyone dance.

Dion walked up the steps and smiled at her then plopped down on the couch "Why you up here K?"

She shrugged "You know this isn't really my scene. Did you call Kacy?"

"Yea he said he'll be here soon but that was awhile ago"

Karma nodded and sipped her drink as she felt the air get thick. She looked around the room and caught the eye of someone. Someone she didn't know.

"Dion, who's that?" She asked. Dion looked in the direction she was looking in and the man smirked before walking off.

"You don't know him?"

"No" she shook her head and sat back down. Her and Dion continued talking for awhile and the air seemed to lighten up. Karma couldn't stop smiling and laughing. She was honestly having a good time.

"Come dance with me" Dion stood up and held his hand out for Karma.

She giggled and shook her head "No Dion. You know I can't dance"

"Come move ya hips for me then" he said trying to wine "Karmas hips don't lie" he laughed still trying.

"No Dion" she laughed "Sit and talk with me"

Dion gave her a stright face "Get up Karma before I give an unwanted lap dance" Karma bust of laughing and Dion smiled wide, then a gun went off.

Dion's smile fell as everyone screamed and more gun shots went off. Karma went into shock as she saw blood start to seep through Dion's shirt from his stomach and chest.

Tears filled her eyes quickly and she jumped to her feet and caught him before he fell. His head rested in her lap and he tried to keep his eyes open.

"Dion" she cried taking off her jean jacket. She pushed it against his bullet wound and pressed hard. "Please."she cried.

The sound of bullets was still going on and it seemed to be getting louder. Karma laid Dion's head on the floor and put pressure on both wounds when she heard a click behind her.

Slowly turning around, she looked down the barrel of a gun.

A loud gunshot went off and the guy fell, showing Kacy behind him. He quickly tucked the gun in his pants and kneed down beside Dion who was bleeding everywhere.

"Kacy help him please" Karma cried, watching Dion's eyes slowly close "Dion wake up" she slapped his face. His eyes opened but then started to close again.

Kacy picked Dion up and carried him out back to his car. Karma got in the back with him and Kacy sped to the hospital.

Its 6am and nobody has seen Dion yet. Karma's covered in blood and has been waiting to see Dion since she brought him to the hospital which was 7 hours ago.

"He'll be ok Karma" Kacy said as he rubbed her back "You need ta' go ta' the house and get some sleep"

"No. Not till I see him" she mumbled. Karma had her head on Kacy's chest and her legs over his, somewhat sitting in his lap.

"If the doctor don't come in 30 minutes, we leaving. Ya need ta' eat and take a nap, then we'll be back"

Karma nodded and buried her face in Kacy's shirt. "Things were going so well" she mumbled, feeling tears fill her eyes "He was trying to get me to dance with him, and threatened me with a bad lap dance" she smiled a little "I didn't even see it coming"

"That's how it is sometimes baby. It just happens" Kacy said softly, rubbing her back.

"I bet it was that guy" she said "He had no business there and he was so creepy looking"

"What guy Karma?"

"Me and Doin saw him but I thought he was with someone. I didn't know he'd shoot Dion, Kacy. I swear I didn't" she cried, her voice cracking. "This is all my fault. If I-"

"Baby chill iight? You're not bout ta' blame ya self ok? Now what you, no, what we gon do is get back at the people that did that ta' Dion and ta' us"

Karma looked up at Kacy and he wiped her tears as a small smile came on her face "I told you that"

"I know ma" he pecked her lips softly, and grabbed the back of her neck gently, taking it a little further. Karma put her hand on the side of his neck and sat up a little more, as their tongues wrestled together slowly.

Kacy pulled away with Karmas lip between his teeth and when he let it go, he went back in for a few seconds then ended the kiss with a couple pecks.

Karma smiled a little and laid her head back on his chest and they waited. 30 minuets passed and they ended up going back to the house.

Kacy took a long drag of his blunt and let it sit in his lungs before slowly exhaling through his nose and mouth.

Things haven't been going right for the crew.

Dion's on life support and the doctors aren't sure when he'll wake up, or if he will. Karma took that harder then anyone, but Kat and Ash have been keeping her stable while Kacy, Morgan and Slim have been trying to find another plan to kill Smokey.

The crews down two men and nobody's willing to let anyone else get taken out by Smokey or his crew.

Kacy ended up calling Wayne, the guy to supply guns and other things and Chris, the guy who has eyes all over.

Right now, Kacy has Karma asleep in his lap. He looked down at her, and moved some hair out her face. She truly was an angle in Kacy's eyes and the fact that she's in the middle of this killing drama, its taking away her inner innocence.

She'll still look innocent on the outside and come across that way to people that don't know her, but she'll never be innocent on the inside.

The door unlocked and Morgan and Slim walked in with Kat and and Ash behind them. They're just coming back from the hospital. "How is he?" Kacy asked passing the blunt in a rotation.

"The same" Slim said taking a drag "Doctor said he'll try something different to wake him up"

Nobody said anything right away, but everyone's thoughts were running wild. Kacy looked down at Karma and played with the ends of her hair.

Her eyes were still slightly puffy from all the crying and the dried tears could be seen on her face.

"How she doing?" Morgan asked, referring to Karma "I know she took it harder than any of us"

"Yea she did but I think she feelin a lil betta. She been sleep all day though. Only woke up ta' eat, and ta' come down here with me"

"We need to come up with something and quick. Smokey knocking everyone out one by one" Kat said.

"What about that plan Karma came up with?"Slim asked "Why we can't use that?"

"We were already missing Bullet and now we missing Dion. It wouldn't work" Morgan said "But I think she has something else in her mind"

"Yea she smart. Just wait till she wake up and we'll find out" Ash said. A few moments later, a knock came to the front door. Morgan grabbed his gun and looked out the peep hole to see Chris and Wayne.

Morgan opened the door and led the way to the living room where everyone else was. "Alright so I brought a sample of the best guns I have. And there's bulletproof vests, tazers and pepper spray in my truck." Wayne said. He opened the two brief cases he had and turned them towards everyone.

"The best gun to use is one that fits your hand and you feel comfortable enough to use" Chris said. While everyone picked up different guns, held them and aimed to see how comfortable they felt using the gum, Chris spoke. "I did some research on Smokey. And the s**t I found is crazy"

Chris pulled out some papers and his laptop. His eyes wandered over to a still sleeping Karma. He thought she was beautiful, and wondered how someone so innocent looking as herself could get involved in such a dirty business.

Kacy looked at Chris, who was staring at Karma. "Something you needa say?" He asked, still trying to figure out which gun he wanted.

"Naw, just looking" Chris said. Kacy chuckled to himself and put the gun back on the table. He carefully picked up Karma, bridal style, and carried her upstairs and into his room then laid her down.

Her hand tightened in his shirt and her forehead wrinkled "Kacy" she whined "Where you going?" She asked opening her eyes.

"Downstairs baby. Everybody here"

"Stay with me for a little. Please" And that's all it took for Kacy to pull off his shirt and climb in behind her. He held her tight and kissed the back of her neck.

Her breathing soon leveled out and Kacy climbed out the bed and pulled his shirt back on, and went back downstairs.

"Ok, I'll start with his family life then move on to who he connected to and s**t. Smokey got three other brothers, all older and he has four sons. All in their 20s. He's married but he doesn't have kids from his wife. They been married for 5 years. Alright now his work is somewhat confusing. He has connects with almost everyone, except me of course, but the people he connected with aren't loyal to him because of his background. Everyone Smokey worked with, he's turned on them and almost lost his life each time"

"No shocker there" Kat mumbled.

"I also found out he's been plotting against y'all for sometime. And the reason why everyone that shot at ya was representing red is cause Smokey want y'all to think another gang is coming after y'all and not him" Chris continued.

"Did he not think that we'd recognize them?" Ash asked "The more s**t I hear, the dumber I think he is"

Morgan and Slim laughed.

"I think the best way for y'all to get him, it to click up with his connections. They don't trust Smokey at all, so if you could think of a reasonable lie about Smokey trying to f**k them over, they'll side with you and go after him as well. Doing your dirty work. And kill his family so he'll know y'all not playing."

"Who's the most powerful person Smokey has connections with?" Slim asked.

Chris went to typing "José Consentalio. He has a drug empire in Columbia but it stretches across the world"

"I heard of him"Kacy said "He got the best supply for coke and heroine. He make that s**t with his own hands"

"Yea that's him. He's been with Smokey for seven years and in the first three, Smokey crossed him but ended up getting some of his trust back. But from the s**t I heard, Smokey already fuckin up so come up with some s**t, and Smokey gone. What y'all think?" Chris asked.

"s**t sound good" Kacy nodded "Ya think you could get us in contact with him?" Chris nodded "Iight cool"

"I know this nigga named Ed. He has everything any nigga could want, business related. From jets to planes to security and extra help. I already let him in on wassup so just hit him up whenever his services are needed" Wayne said sliding over Ed's card.

"How fast is his services?" Morgan asked.

"Best I've seen"

Chris and Wayne promised to keep in touch and help whenever its needed before leaving.

"Guess its time to get s**t started" Slim said with a smirk on his face.

Kacy stretched in bed and opened his eyes, letting them adjust to the light coming in the room. After doing his morning hygiene, he walked downstairs and expected to see Karma but instead he found a note.

Morning Kacy, I'm at the hospital checking on Dion. When I leave here, I'm going to see my mom and Joe. Then my dad. I'll be back before the jet leaves.

Oh, and I made breakfast.

He bawled up the note and threw it away before getting his plate out the microwave and eating.

Its been a week since Chris and Wayne stopped by and today's the day for the crew to meet up with Jose in Columbia. He's already expecting them.

Kacy called Ed and he supplied them with a jet and everything else they'll need while in Columbia. Thinking about why Ed, Chris and Wayne are so against Smokey, Kacy asked why.

Ed explained to him about how many times Smokey has backstabbed and cross the three of them and they were tired of it.

When Kacy finished eating, he went upstairs into his room. Walking in, it smelled like Karma and that made him smile to himself.

Going through his bags, he made sure he had everything he needed and did the same to Karmas bag.

Picking up his laptop, he went through his files and double checked everything, being sure the plans, information, and people were all in place.

He sent a group text out to Slim, Morgan, Ash and Kat letting them know to double check everything and to meet at the jet in an hour.

"Kacy?" Karma yelled from downstairs. She put her keys and bag on the small table by the door "Kacy you home?"

"Yea, Wassup?" He asked coming downstairs. He approached her and pulled her into his chest "Ya look good in that dress" he said leaning in to kiss her.

She pecked his lips and smiled "Thank you. You ready to go? Its almost 4"

He nodded and turned and walked upstairs with Karma behind him. She quickly changed into jeans and a tank top before dragging her bags down to Kacy's escalade.

Kacy hopped in the driver seat and Karma got in on the passenger side.

"I'm Ed. Its nice to finally meet y'all" he slapped hands with Kacy and gently shook hands with Karma "I got everything set for y'all. When you land in Columbia, a black escalade will be waiting and will drive you to your hotel. I've booked 3 rooms. One for you and your beautiful lady, one for Kat and Ash and then Slim and Morgan. Tomorrow at 10am, the car will take you to see José. Anything else, just hit me up"

"Thank you" Karma smiled as he walked off "Kacy what about Dion? What if he wakes up and we're not there?"

"Don't trip ma" he threw his arm around her waist "I got Ed ta' hook us up with 2 bodyguards ta' stand in front of Dion room. He safe"

Karma sighed relived and leaned her head on his chest "I want to be the first person he sees"

"I can't promise ya that. But I can promise the first thing we'll do when we get back is go see him. That's cool with you baby?" She nodded and leaned up to kiss him. "Wait here. I got ta' go holla at Wayne right quick"

Karma stood still and leaned up against a car, waiting for Kacy when Chris approached her. "How you doin? I'm Chris"

"Karma" she said back.

"You and Kacy together or something?"

"Or something" she laughed "Why you ask?"

Chris shrugged "Just wondering"

"Chris, you mind doing me a favor? I have a friend in the hospital and I need someone to watch over him. Can you?"

He nodded "Yea I could do that. I'll just call Kacy and let him know"

"Ok thank you" she smiled as Kacy walked back over. Chris nodded and walked off "What?" Karma asked seeing the expression on Kacy's face

"What'd he say ta' you?"

"Nothing. I asked him to with over Dion while we're away and he said ok"

Kacy grabbed Karmas hand and they walked to the jet together "Don't trust everyone Karma"

"But you trust him. Why can't I?"

Instead of answering her, he just kept walking until they were seated on the jet. Ash, Kat, Slim and Morgan were all there so the jet took off towards Columbia.

The jet landed in Columbia an hour ago and the escalade took the crew to the hotel, just like Ed said it would.

After checking in, everyone went to their room to unpack and get situated, then met back in Kacy and Karma's room.

"Ash and I are goin to look around. Karma, you want to come with?" Kat asked.

"Yea let me g-"

"Naw she can't tonight. We got somethin planned" Kacy interrupted. Kat and Ash looked at Karma with a smile on their face and left the room. "We'll talk when I get back" he told Slim and Morgan.

"Cool, we hittin up we clubs. Let us know when y'all back from the date" Morgan teased.

"Its not a date Morgan" Karma giggled "Now leave so I could get dressed"

He threw his hands up in surrender "No need to tell me twice. I'll hit you up later Kacy"

Slim and Morgan left leaving Kacy and Karma alone. "So where we going? I need to know how to dress"

"Formal" was all Kacy said. It didn't take them long to get dressed. After they showered and got dressed, Karma started straightening her hair. "5 minutes Karma" He groaned waiting for her.

"Relax, I'm done" she quickly sprayed herself with perfume then grabbed the light blue clutch that matched her dress "Good?" She asked slowly spinning in front of Kacy.

"Perfect" he smiled kissing her then grabbing her hand and pulling her towards the elevator. Since they were on the 17th floor, it took them awhile to get to the main floor.

Kacy couldn't keep his eyes off Karma. The dress was hugging her just right. She looked beautiful.

He grabbed her waist and pulled her into his chest. Her back was to him and he wrapped his arms around her tight and inhaled her scent "Ya smell good as f**k" he mumbled.

Karma giggled "Thank you Kacy. Can you tell me where we going?"

"Its a surprise" he said in her ear, sending chills down her spine. "I hope you like what I planned fa' ya. I made sure its beyond perfect"

She turned and faced him, wrapping her arms around his neck and putting her forehead to his "I'll always love what you plan for me Kacy" her lips brushing against his as she spoke.

"Yea?" He squeezed her a little bit tighter. He moved in towards her lips and pecked them before pulling her impossibility closer and letting their tongues battle.

He sucked on her bottom lip and would occasionally bite it softly, making Karma smile into the kiss. The elevator dinged and they were on the main floor.

Pecking her lips one last time, Kacy entwined their fingers and led her to the van.

The van pulled up to a building that resembled a castle. It seemed as if it touched the sky, with windows marking every floor and a Victorian style setup.

Karma smiled and let Kacy drag her inside while she continued to be amazed by the outside. But the inside looked every better.

"Oh my God" she whispered looking around.

"This ain't nothin compared ta' what I planned. Come on" He walked to the back of the huge dining room, took the elevator up three floors then led her to the back of that room. "Close your eyes"

Karma listened and slowly followed Kacy. The temperatures changed so she knew they were outside again. That made her eager to see what it looked like.

Soon, Kacy stopped "Iight open" Karma slowly opened her eyes and she gasped loudly "Ya like it?"

"I love it Kacy" she looked at view over the city. The lit candles making the scene 10 times better. The bouquet of roses sitting at the table that had a single candle lit and was set for dinner.

"Cool. Come sit" he pulled out her chair and slid it under her as she sat down then took a seat across from her. "I didn't know if you liked roses but I took a chance"

"I love roses" she smiled smelling them "You set this by yourself?"

"Somewhat. I paid some people to put this together. But I did other things on my own"

"Like the flowers?" She asked.

"More or less" he smirked "But I'm glad ya like it"

"I do" she smiled "Not to sound ungrateful but next time, don't put so much effort you know? I'm a simple girl that likes simple things"

"I'll remember that"

The night continued with dinner and deep conversation as usual. It was around 9pm when Kacy announced he had something to say.

"I know ya ain't a materialistic female but I felt this was the only way ta' show ya how I feel." He reached in his pocket and pulled out a velvet box. He slid it over to Karma. "Before ya open it, just hear me out. I'm catchin these feelins for ya, but I'm not sure how ta' explain them. Iight listen. Its like whenever ya not round me, I feel empty almost. Its like I need you there. And wheneva ya are round me, I just want ta' make you smile and hol' ya tight"

"I ain't tryin ta' scare ya away with my feelins, but I needa get this off my chest. I know I tol' ya I was feelin you before, but its like they got stronger or sum s**t. Anyway, I feel like the only way ta' prove ta' ya I won't hurt or lie ta' ya is ta' give ya that" he smiled.

Karma opened the velvet box, and stared at the diamond encrusted necklace. "I ain't neva spend that much money on anyone before. It was about $20,000. But like I said, I know ya not materialistic but then again, every time I look at ya and see that round ya neck, I know ya mine and only mine"

Karma smiled a little "Put it on me please" He got out his seat and walked around to her side. Putting the necklace around her neck, he put it on. Karma turned and faced him. "It looks good?"

"It looks beautiful ma" he said leaning in. The kiss was slow and passionate. Intense and needy. Gentle and gave them both chills. Kacy wrapped his arms around Karma and pulled her closer, deepening the kiss "Be my girl Karma." He said pulling away. Looking in her eyes, he could already see hesitation "I know what ya thinkin. Ain't nobody out there fa' me except you. Ya the only female I need Karma. Let me prove myself ta' you"

She bit the corner of her lip "Hypothetically speaking. If I were to say yes, would you promise to be patient with me? I know I have my insecurities and doubts about myself. That's why I'm doubting this right now. I don't want you to find someone better, when I'm already in love with you"

"I'll be patient baby. I'll tell ya everyday, how beautiful I know ya are and how no other female compare ta' ya cause they're true."

"I believe you"

He smiled wide "So what that mean? I want ta' hear ya say it"

"I'll be your girl Kacy" she giggled.
