CHAPTER SIX

“Elena? Elena!” Dr. Monte repeatedly called to Elena.

While he approach Elena on her seat to checked up on her, but Elena didn’t respond and by that Dr. Monte realize Elena had passed out. He didn’t know Elena will passed out while talking, for it is normal to a person to be anxious when in terms of giving statement, specially his patients.

Dr. Monte fixed Elena in a lay down position and turn to get back on his seat to wait Elena to wake up. He was halfway onto his when he heard Elena’s sound of getting up from behind  him made him halted.

“Are you—” Dr. Monte halted from he was about to ask when turned to look onto Elena who was now standing.

But, Elena standing didn’t the one that made Dr. Monte halt, but Elena’s emotionless face and aura that he can’t decipher for now.

“Are you now okay?” Dr. Monte asked again, as he completely face Elena who was just staring at him coldly, bringing a strange chills in his system.

“You look surprise doctor,” Elena said “can I ask why?”

Elena asked and plastered her mischievous smile after, bringing more chills on Dr. Monte’s system.

“I was just surprise to see you standing because when I checked you are completely unconscious, that’s why.” Dr. Monte explained turning his face to his casual one while staring at Elena.

But, seeing at Elena right now is like staring at a different person, for the Elena standing infront of him right now is looking at him with a mischievous smirk, while her eyes says the otherwise for it was so cold and he can read danger upon looking at her facial expression.

“Thanks, but I’m now okay.” Elena said to Dr. Monte and get back from her seat.

“I heard you are one of the best on your field, so I’m sure you know who is your seeing right now, am I right?” Elena stated looking to Dr. Monte who was just got back on his seat.

“Yeah, so who are you?” Dr. Monte asked that made Elena’s mischievous smirk grew upon hearing Dr. Monte’s question.

“I’ll tell you next time old man,” Elena said “for now I want to thank you for making me out, I have so much to do so I’ll be going.”

Elena said standing up and was about to pass on Dr. Monte when Dr. Monte stopped her by slightly blocking her way, but happened next was made Dr. Monte’s eye widen while looking at Elena’s cold eyes that is now staring at him piercingly while slightly holding his neck, but he knows ones Elena press it, he’ll be dead.

“Never blocked my way old man.” Elena said warningly as she continuously holding Dr. Monte’s neck.

“Elena…” a voice from the person at the door took Elena’s attention.

“E-Eleanor...” Dr. Monte uttered turning his gaze towards where the woman’s voice came from that they didn’t notice coming in.

“Elena, what are you doing?” Ms. Estrella asked rushing to towards Elena but, halted when she saw the coldness on Elena’s eyes.

Dr. Monte felt Elena’s grasp on his neck became loose as Ms. Estrella stared at her until she completely loose it and hold her head.

And next thing they heard was Elena moan of pain as she hold her head tightly, making Ms. Estrella run to Elena.

“Harris…What is happening to her?” Ms. Estrella asked to Dr. Monte who was now, holding Elena on her shoulders, but didn’t answer Ms. Estrella for his attention is on Elena who was now shouting in pain.

“Cyan! Cyan!” Dr. Monte called for his nurse who was just on the outside.

“Yes Doc.” The man hurriedly entered in the clinic said.

“Give her a 6ml Sumatriptan, hurry!” Dr. Monte ordered to the nurse named Cyan that Cyan immediately did fast after laying Elena on the long sofa.

After a while, the drug seemed effecting Elena, for her pained expression  a while vanished, and now currently Elena sleeping.

“What happened to Harris? And why is she choking you a while ago?” Dr. Monte heard Ms. Estrella asked after a while of silence, while watching Elena sleeping.

Breathing heavily, Dr. Monte face Ms. Estrella who was anxiously waiting for his answer to her questions.

“Elena has a DID a mental illness that is a very rare one Eleanor.” Dr. Monte informed to Ms. Estrella who has brows knotted from what he said.

“What do you mean DID?” Ms. Estrella asked again confusingly while eyeing Dr. Monte.

“DID or Dissociative Identity Disorder, or we simply called multiple personality,” Dr. Monte answered “Elena had it.”

Ms. Estrella felt like a bomb ringed on her ear from what she just heard. Of course she had knowledge about multiple personality, but how did Elena got it?

How long Elena had it, for she had been looking up to Elena together with Dan, but they never saw anything strange to Elena, and yesterday was the first time she saw Elena acting so strange, followed by her suicide attempt and her hysterical behavior when she got back from the university.

By thinking at Elena, Ms. Estrella recall the look on Elena’s eyes. It was the same! Ms. Estrella thought about what she saw Elena’s eyes looked like yesterday when she entered their classroom.

“Eleanor?” Dr. Monte called for Ms. Estrella who was currently fell into deep thought.

“Elena is waking up.” Dr. Monte informed as he saw Elena is starting to regain consciousness, that made Ms. Estrella thoughts came back to reality, and immediately rush to Elena’s side.

“Elena? Elena…” Ms. Estrella called and slowly Elena opened her eyes.

“M-Ma’am…” Elena uttered when she saw Ms. Estrella on her side looking at her worried.

“How are you Elena?” Ms. Estrella asked worriedly “is your head still hurting?”

Elena shake her head lightly and get up, that Ms. Estrella immediately assisted.

“How are you Elena?” Elena heard Dr. Monte asked from Ms. Estrella’s behind, standing a few steps from Ms. Estrella, as she completely  seated on the sofa she was lying a while ago.

“I’m okay Doctor, I-I’m sorry I didn’t mean to passed out, I-Its just suddenly happened my surrounding became black, and I-I didn’t know what happened.” Elena stated nervously at the same time embarrassed.

She saw Dr. Monte took a deep breath after her statement and smiled at her.

“Its okay…but we’ll gonna stop for to today, okay?” Dr. Monte said smiling, that Elena respond in nod.

“Take Elena home for now, Eleanor…” Dr. Monte said turning to Ms. Estrella and nod at her afterwards, that Ms. Estrella immediately understand what Dr. Monte meant.

On there way home, Elena broke the silence in the car as she felt that there is something bothering Ms. Estrella.

“Is there any wrong?” Elena asked curiously, looking at Ms. Estrella, but it seems Ms. Estrella didn’t heard what she asked and decided to let Ms. Estrella think for she herself, felt that there was something wrong back there on the clinic.

Elena didn’t told Ms. Estrella a while ago, but she had a glimpse of memory of holding Dr. Monte’s neck, and she was also notice a mark on the doctor’s neck when she looked at his neck.

As they reach home, Ms. Estrella told her to rest on her room that Elena oblige for her head was starting to ache again.

The morning came and Elena was getting ready for school when she heard a knocked and the door opened revealing Ms. Estrella.

“Hi, Ma’am!” Elena cheerfully greeted and get back from doing wearing her blazer.

“Do you feel okay now? You don’t really have to attend school today, if your still not okay.” Elena heard Ms. Estrella said,  talking about last night, when Ms. Estrella visited her and found out that she was having a fever.

“Hmm...Hmm…I’m okay Ma’am, don’t worry,” Elena said giving Ms. Estrella a gentle smile “and thank you for taking care of me last night.”

“Hay…Until when you will call me Ma’am, Elena? Your too formal to me.” Elena heard Ms. Estrella whispered that made smile grew wide and attack Ms. Estrella a hug.

“I heard it! Ha-ha! My Aunt Elle is being grumpy this morning.” Elena joked hugging, Ms. Estrella more tight.

“Its because you keep on calling me Ma’am even we’re not in school!” Ms. Estrella uttered faking her annoyance.

Of course Ms. Estrella was just kidding and Elena knows it, because it’s one of their bond her faking being annoyed by how Elena was calling her, and Elena hugged her whenever she acted.

“Are you finished getting ready?” Ms. Estrella asked to Elena who was still hugging her from behind.

“Yep, Aunt Elle…”Elena answered that making Ms. Estrella smile from what Elena called her.

“You will just called me that, when I acted annoyed.” Ms. Estrella stated now facing Elena.

Elena just give Ms. Estrella her cheerful smile and turn to grab her bag on her bed.

“Let’s go?” Ms. Estrella said after seeing Elena picking her bag up and Elena nod smiling.

It was still early when they reach the university and the vehicles in the parking lot are just few.

“Elena wait.” Elena heard Ms. Estrella said when she was just about get down from the car, when Ms. Estrella called her and reach something on the back seat.

“Here!” Ms. Estrella said after she finally took the paper on the backseat and handed it to Elena.

“Thanks Ma’am, I’ll eat this later.” Elena said in glee after checking the paper bag content, and saw that it was her favorite lasagna.

Ms. Estrella smiled as she saw a glitter happiness on Elena’s eyes when she saw the lasagna.

And today seeing Elena happy was more than enough for her, after finding out Elena’s illness. Ms. Estrella has now decided to look more on Elena.

Elena was on her way to her classroom, and was about to turn to the right corner of the hallway when she bump hard on the large frame of the man making her fall.

Elena saw a polish black shoe after her fall, and slowly she look up to see the person who was owning it.

“Are you okay?” The man asked looking down at Elena.

Elena stared at the man, that somewhat felt familiar on her, at the same time made her feel anxious upon seeing the man’s face.

“I-I’m okay…” Elena replied as she nervously got up, and hurriedly continued walking pass through the man, who were just remain from standing.

Elena felt the man’s stare following her from her back as she continuously walked, making her pace fast for she didn’t like the way, that the man is following her with his stare.

“Mr. Raffy Mirabello?” The university vice-president called to the man named Raffy Mirabello, who was currently following the student he was just bump into, for the student somewhat look a like someone he was longing for and at the same time he hated.

Raffy didn’t know but there is something that is telling him to dig up, upon that student.

“I want you to give me the credentials of that student.” Raffy Mirabello ordered to the university vice-president, while pointing to the student who was seem walking in a hurry.

The university vice-president look at Raffy with a knotted brows from what Raffy Mirabello ordered.

“I apologize in advance Mr. Mirabello, but the students credential here in the university are confidential and we can’t give it to anyone just like that” The vice-president replied making Raffy smirk in annoyance and turn to face the vice-president.

“I don’t care what you are apologizing for, but one thing is for sure,” Raffy said to the university vice-president “you will take it and give what I want, whether you like it or not… Do you understand old man?”

The vice-president gulp and unwillingly nod to what Raffy said.

“Good!” Raffy said smirking while staring at the student who was just about to enter in the classroom that is located at the end of the hallway.
