At The Studio

Since it was rush hour, the traffic was really bad. When Elly finally arrived, she was already late. Martha and Elly were smiling from ear to ear as they walked out of the audition building. They were surrounded by a group of people who were congratulating them. From a distance, Rose spotted Elly, who was running towards the building, sweating and out of breath. Elly looked at her with the same look she had given her five years ago. It was the look of someone who looked down on someone much smaller than them. Elly left in her minivan, proud and full of herself, leaving a trail of dust behind. Elly quickly ran into the building. It wasn’t too late! Suddenly, Elly bumped into a group of people who were chatting happily as they walked. They were the judges for the “Land Under Heaven” auditions. “Sorry, I’m late! ” Elly bowed deeply. When Elly blocked their path and interrupted them, a few of the judges looked at each other, clearly unhappy. No one liked people who were always late. The assistant director kept a straight face and said, “The audition is over. What’s the point of rushing here? Young people are getting more and more unreliable these days! ” “I’m not here to try for the main female role! ” Elly said quickly. “Oh? Then what are you auditioning for? ” asked the screenwriter, showing interest. “I’m here to try for the supporting female role, Sara. From what I know, you didn’t find a suitable actress for this role during the last auditions! ” Before the screenwriter could respond, Elly lifted her head. For five seconds, the room went quiet. Even the unfriendly assistant director was surprised. What he saw was a girl with full lips, white teeth, long black hair, and a red dress. Her beauty was so strong that it didn’t get lost in the color; instead, it made her even more striking. She stood calmly, but it felt like she was surrounded by floating mist. She looked like a fox spirit with long cultivation. Her eyes were so mesmerizing that they could make anyone lose their guard and fall into their beauty instantly. Though she looked like a spirit fox, she seemed like a fairy who had never stepped on the ground. Her eyes were deep and full of light. “What’s your name? ” Director Brad asked, as if he had just woken up from a beautiful dream. “Elly,” she answered. Director Brad spoke after looking at the assistant director, screenwriter, and film producer. “I remember you. You’re an artist from Starlight. You can go back and prepare. You’ve got the supporting female role. You’ll be notified when filming starts. ” “Thank you, director. I’ll prepare well,” Elly said, bowing in thanks. Elly had always aimed for the supporting female role. She had spent three months trying to understand Sara’s character. She had put in all the effort to win over the judges with just one glance. Fortunately, she had succeeded, despite some difficulties. After Elly left, Director Brad said, “We had been searching for an actress, and then the moment we stopped looking, we found the perfect one! Her qualifications are not great, even though she is signed with Starlight Entertainment. With her acting record, I didn’t even consider her for the main female role. I never thought she would be even more beautiful than in her pictures! ” Screenwriter Ben couldn’t help but get excited too. “Most importantly, her presence was perfect. That look from earlier was just right. Sara was a righteous female general before she became the downfall of the nation. She could be pretty and flirtatious, but she would always stay pure and strong. She could never be vulgar. All the actors who auditioned before me acted like brothel courtesans, and I was really upset! ” “Haha, don’t get upset. We finally found the Sara we were waiting for! ” …… At the same time, in B City, at the First People’s Hospital. The VIP room where Little Bun was staying was in a mess. The little boy was sitting on the windowsill, barefoot, upset and shouting at the top of his lungs. No matter what the doctors and nurses said, he wouldn’t come down. “Brother, you’re finally here! Your Little Treasure was just fine a while ago, but he suddenly started going on a rampage!” “What happened?” Gaus asked in a low voice. “I don’t know what happened either. After he woke up, he was searching everywhere for someone. I thought that he might be searching for Rose, so I told him to stop looking, the pretty lady had already left. As soon as I finished talking, he started his rampage. Little Treasure seems to like Rose a lot, but it shouldn’t be to the point where he would get this agitated by just hearing that she left!” Also, it had been a long time since Little Treasure had shown such intense and turbulent emotions. After hearing what had happened, Gaus walked straight towards his son. Seeing Gaus come closer, the little guy immediately retreated backwards warily. His eyes were filled with caution and aversion, he wasn’t going to stop, even for his own father. Gaus stopped when he was three steps away from his son. He said in a calm and steady tone: “When your second uncle told you that the lady had already left, that was exactly what he meant. There was nothing wrong with her health, so she has already left the hospital to go home. She didn’t die, it’s not like when your grandmother left and never came back, understand?” It was perhaps only when facing his son that Gaus would have such patience, having so much to say. Gerrald gaped, “Are you kidding me? I only said those two words, ‘she left’, and his mind made such a huge leap?” Marcus had personally seen Rose fall down and had already experienced a big fright. Under such emotional turmoil, he couldn’t be blamed for misunderstanding the situation. Little Treasure briefly stopped screaming after hearing Gaus’s explanation. He refused to move while burying his head and curling up on the windowsill. Seeing this, Gaus took out a slip of paper, “She left this for you, are you going to look at it?” Little Treasure’s body twitched once, as if a switch had been turned on. He quickly raised his head and opened his little arms, indicating that he wanted his father to hug him. Gerrald: “…….” The doctors and nurses at the scene: “……” Everyone in the room had been put through the wringer to the point of breaking down, yet Gaus managed to end the matter with a slip of paper? Gerrald had originally thought that asking Rose for a note was entirely unnecessary, but now he was completely convinced. Gaus carried his son to the sofa and sat down, then handed the paper slip to him. The little guy eagerly received it. He had learned to recognize words a long time ago, and could already read on his own. [Darling, thank you for saving me, you’re amazing ] Looking at the words on the slip, and the heart drawn at the end of it, the little guy’s eyes were sparkling. He even had a faint blush on his cheeks. Even though he tightened his lips reservedly, the corners of his mouth could not resist faintly quirking up. His demeanor was especially cute. Gerrald looked as if he had just seen a ghost. “What the ****, was I just blinded? Our Little Treasure actually smiled! I can’t even remember how long it’s been since I last saw him smile! What exactly did Rose write?” Gerrald wanted to sneak a peek, but Little Treasure immediately hid it like it was a precious treasure. However, Gerrald’s sharp eyes had already seen it. It was just a fairly ordinary note, yet it could make Little Treasure so happy? This Rose was remarkable! Gaus gazed warmly at his son without speaking. After Little Treasure had woken up, Gaus immediately brought him home. In addition, he postponed all his work at the company to stay with Little Treasure at home. …… At night, in Platinum Palace’s villa No. 8. The huge living room was icy cold. An adult and a child sat facing each other across the dining table with matching cold expressions. Gaus: “Eat your food.” Little Treasure turned a deaf ear. Gaus: “I’m saying this for the last time.” Little Treasure didn’t even twitch. Gaus: “Do you think that this kind of childish hunger strike would work against me?” Little Treasure was like a meditating old monk, completely immersed in his own world, isolated from the outside world. The duo continued to confront one another. After one hour. Gaus called Gerrald: “Send me Rose’s address.” Okay, so this had proved that hunger strikes did work on him. Gerrald was extremely efficient as he immediately sent Rose’s exact address to his older brother’s cell phone. Following that was a huge pile of gossip, which was completely ignored by Gaus. This time, Gaus didn’t even need to say anything. The moment Little Treasure saw his father picking up his jacket and car keys, he immediately followed his father’s every step. Gaus helplessly picked up his son after a single glance at the little bun standing by his feet, “There won’t be a next time.” Gerrald was trying to comfort him like he was the most precious person in the world, but it didn’t help. The boy just ignored her.
