Chapter 10They took him up to the roof.
Tanya carried him easily. Aiden didn’t know if it was a spell or her brother possessing her, but whatever it was, he couldn’t get away. He vaguely remembered struggling, but he kept losing time: blinking in the hallway and then suddenly they were in the stairwell; blinking again and then coming to with the heavy door to the roof clanging shut behind them. He thought he could feel Davidson’s bony hand wrapped around his ankle. Maybe she was using more magic to keep him out. Cassandra or Greg would know.
