After a two-hour lunch with Esther and Laura, I returned to the company feeling exhausted. I walked straight toward my office without looking around. Though I caught Allena from the corner of my eye, looking at me and waiting for me to speak I walked past her into my office, shutting the door shut.
I sank into the chair and inhaled deeply. The lunch was more than I had imagined and it wide opened my mind. The lunch was just to spite Allena but when she refused to join us, I had no other option than to take Laura alone.
In the restaurant we bumped into Esther, I invited her to join us. As the lunch went on it started to seem inappropriate because Esther kept talking down to Allena and was still not ready to believe that Allena isn't one to be blamed for the video leak.
