Adam averted his gaze from Elsa.
Taking a moment to gather his thoughts, he finally spoke up.
"Engaging in fights goes against the institute rules."
Elsa, overcome with frustration, exclaimed.
"It's Fine since you don't care!" She slumped into a corner of a tree, burying her face in her arms. Adam's heart shattered at the sight of her desolation.
"It's not that I don't care.... If I get reported and get expelled from school, then..."
Adam quietly mumbled to himself, unable to voice his true thoughts.
It was too embarrassing to say out loud. All he could do was helplessly watch her.
"Please! Am simply asking you to get rid of a slave."
Elsa lifted her head, her eyes welling up with tears, and her nose red.
Adam swallowed hard, contemplating her request for a long time.
